Pros

PartingPro streamlines our communication with the families we serve in a way we could not before using the software. The visual layout of PartingPro is fairly intuitive and allows the team to manage their work much more easily and obtain payments more quickly.

Cons

The invoicing functionality and reporting could be improved to provide easier use by our team and management. Features to help match the various payment scenarios each family requires such as splitting payments would be a value-add. Also, more robust, detailed automatic financial reporting would help management more easily perform general admin functions.

Overall great experience. No complaints.

Pros

The clean and modern look. Very user friendly and there is always someone to help if I have any questions.

Cons

There is nothing that I dont like. Everything is great. Maybe just the UPD urns shipping is longer than it should be, but that isn’t a parting pro issue.

My over all experience has been enjoyable. It is a breeze to arrange a cremation through Parting Pro and its even fun.

Pros

I like that the software allows people to arrange cremation and funerals, sign legal documents with ID verification and even collect and send payment, all with the ease of never leaving your desk. It is accurate, precise and it allows you and your client to edit and communicate on the same document in real time. And Parting Pro has excellent customer service options to communicate with the admins via SMS.

Cons

I do not understand the convenience fee. I wish it was a set-in-stone percentage so that I could tell my families what the convenience fee will be before I send them the invoice.

Overall it’s a great tool and I am glad we’ve started using it I just think there are several limitations as I mentioned above. The communication is great though and I’ve always had a great experience with the customer service.

Pros

I like how easy it is for me to be able to send forms to families and for them to be able to sign and review documents from their phones or computers. I also really like the invoice option and the ability to accept payment via the program, however I wish we could change certain things about it.

Cons

It takes a while for the photo IDs to upload and I wish it was automatic as soon as the family did it. I also would like to be able to upload and edit my own forms as there are some forms that are specific to just one family or a couple and I’d like to be able to provide them everything in one email as I often have to send half my documents via Parting Pro and the other half via a regular email explaining “here are the rest of the documents” and then they can’t sign it as easily unless they scan and email back to me. I’d also like to be able to name invoices our case numbers, for some reason it doesn’t let me (for example invoice number KDL-18-257).

We are a Funeral Home serving families in our community as well as families and funeral homes across the country. This is the perfect software because it allows us to communicate with needed forms much easier and hassle free. Our families are already going through enough, and having a software this smooth, prevents them from going through anymore.

Pros

This software makes my job SO MUCH EASIER! I can now meet the needs of my families regardless of location, without the hassle of the family needing to find a place to print/scan the documents and email them back. Very convenient for those who do not want to be inconvenienced.

Cons

Well I liked to be able to edit the documents before sending them, to make it easier on the family to just review and sign. You all must of listened because it has been implemented and works like a gem!

It has been wonderful! Not only does it make our work of caring for families in a most difficult time easier and less time consuming - but it has proven to have made our business more profitable from day one!

Pros

We started using PartingPro - funeral arrangement software - shortly after the COVID-19 Pandemic began. Not only has it allowed us to stay in business when other businesses were closed and shut down - it actually helped us gain more business and become more profitable by giving our families an easy way to choose services, select merchandise they want, and complete all forms required without ever leaving the safety and comfort of their homes during this terrible pandemic. I am not sure we will ever go back to the face-to-face arrangement model again, because of what we offer and the ease with which families can select their services and complete everything online - even pay for it!

Cons

I would have to think long and hard to find even one thing that I would consider a CON. Probably the one thing I would wish were easier or different is to change the main email to which forms and proposals are sent.

Pros

Signing up with Parting Pro for my online cremation business was the best decision I ever made. My internal processes have been streamlined due to all the great features Parting Pro has to offer. If you are looking for a simple way to stay engaged with your client and organized at the same time, give Parting Pro a look. You won't be disappointed.

Cons

I would be nice if we could easily merge cases. When I take a call over the phone I will typically get their information and send them an email through Parting Pro. Often times when the client decides to move forward and go through the online process it adds them as a new case. I don't like deleting anything but there is not a feature for me to merge the two cases. That would be helpful.

Pros

This program has been most impactful for our company because it allowed us to leave the paper and pen world and take a big step into the digital world. Our families rave about how easy it is to work with us and I know a lot of it is because of Parting Pro. Our communication through phone and fax has been significantly reduced saving us money on manpower, paper, ink and other related supplies. I am grateful for the movement we made when choosing Parting Pro - what a game changer!

Cons

I dislike a few features of Parting Pro, but those features might have been set by the administrator. I would like more information available on one page rather than shifting through different tabs looking for what I need.

I'm very happy overall with Parting Pro the software has been great and its always getting better as new advances come along. The people with Parting Pro are great too! Always so helpful and willing to make our business better.

Pros

My favorite parts are being able to do everything from one spot. Such as the paperwork being sent to families and the option to send them an invoice as well. Making it so we can send each family member their own forms is helpful. When we are able to make edits to help a family complete the forms or check their status is helpful, this way we know where the families are in the process. Being able to see all of our cases on one page with their status is nice and the ease of navigating through all the types of cases and in each individual case is something else I like.

Cons

If the software were to be more mobile friendly on our end and the families it would make things even better. When were out of the office and only have a phone to use it can sometimes be a challenge. If it were done in an app format would be great.

It's easier and quicker when signatures are needed and the customers live out of state. The forms are all sent by email and then returned by the customers. Very little time is lost.

Pros

It was very helpful when we needed family members to sigh our authorization form and the family members lived 2,000 away. The forms were sent by email to the family members and with the signature verification included with this program, we had the forms back in just a couple of days and everything went smoothly.

Cons

Sometimes the follow up email's occurred to often and the customers were a little upset.

I am a 4th generation funeral director. Change is all around us and with Parting Pro, I can get information to and from families who live out of town. Only used it 3 times so far, but my experience has been very positive. I can customize the first letter sent out to families and they have found it very easy to “fill in the blanks” and even pay online. It’s very refreshing to be able to meet a family when they arrive in town and not have to do “business” first. I would recommend this program to everyone!

Pros

Ease of getting information to and from families we serve.

Cons

After I had the online schooling, I was good to go with a little bit of practice and the support I received was phenomenal! Nothing that I don’t like about the program.

The customer service is the absolute best they respond within seconds and always eager to help us find solutions to any issues we have. they make changes for us regularly and there is almost no wait time!

Pros

I love that it is specific to our current needs and can be changed frequently! Makes payments easy and increases sales! Easy to use and learn!

Cons

A couple issues with specific forms and in the e-sign platform it only allows for one signer not multi pal. Also in this review it asked for me to select a category and funeral home is not an option so i had to choose a random category.

Reason for choosing Parting Pro

Value and ease of use! Friendly team Also. Was very interested in increasing the sales and this website did just that for us!

Easy to use. Its a living thing that evolves to our needs and helps us to interact with our customers on a clean and easy platform.

Glitches are few to non-existent, but when they occur, we seem to get fixes promptly. We've only been down a couple of times.

Parting Pro has definitely helped grow our business. Unlocking new segments of customers, modernizing some of our old processes (no more customer faxing!), and selling merchandise online has been nothing but amazing. The team is very responsive to anything I need help with and each new feature release just makes it more and more valuable.

Pros

Parting Pro has unlocked a new segment of business for our firm. Having a low-cost, online-only option allows my firm to serve many of the families I was losing to competitors. I would get the first phone call, but ultimately lose them to direct disposers and fly-by-night store fronts.

Cons

It took me longer than it should have to trust the system. I thought that serving people online, I would be losing the personal touch - but families have said nothing but positive things about it.
