Pros Software allows sanity check of data, optimization, consolidation and finally transport cost reduction. Web-based solution, very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Pros I get requests for quotation from customers and it's so easy to copy-paste the cargo dims&weights to Cargo-planner which then calculates me the required container type and amount within seconds. Having worked for three different forwarding companies in the past we have allways choosen CargoPlanner for our optimization needs. Pros The software is the state of the art in load optimization! Prior of taking on CargoPlanner we evaluated comparable softwares. Competition is no way near CargoPlanner. Also we appreciate the very fast support given by the company. Pros I can upload/paste in packing lists in many formats and the tool can read them Cons Last year the response time to add a requested new trailer type was quite long. I know I could do it myself but I just did not get round to trying myself.
