Pros As a user i can confirm that using their application you can browse internet faster as we are able to control our cookies in a better way. I haven't heard any other tool doing similar things and they are making our life easier. Cons They can develop a feature where they can remember our passwords as per user consent. This cannot be managed in one interface. It's not great. Pros it's free, so there's that to like about it Cons Having to create a secure website in 2023 means having a content security policy. Unfortunately for me and my org, this product injects SVGs into its CSS, runs custom 'jquery'-like calls from its minified script to address DOM .style elements and obfuscates other CSS alterations, all of which are defacto failures for any CSP. Security in 2023 isn't just having an https address and MFA, it means not using this software and implementing a viable cookie management script you write yourself. Cookie Control does not inject SVGs into its CSS. since all our SVGs are added inline and we don't have any within the CSS as background images for example. We do inject them into the HTML. We do make CSS alterations but we only edit class names we have set and it is unlikely any website would be using the same ones already. This is for our branding configuration options Also, we do run functions from our script to amend the style of DOM elements. With a CSP, scripts running from our domains can be blocked, if anyone wishes. These will be optimized going forward. Anyone using a CMP would understand that these security 'threats' are minimal and a reality of using any external scripts. But we aim to make it even better in the near future. Pros I purchased it, installed it, clicked some buttons to set it up and it works. I spend just few minutes to make sure my website meets new GDPR requirements. Cons It needs wise set up. I've used this on 100s of websites and will continue to do so. Pros The level of customisation is fantastic, better than any other I have used in the past. Its really easy to set the different opt in options. Cons Implementing and styling does require a bit of code knowledge. The dedicated user area keeps all Cookie Control licenses in one place, which makes it very helpful when you need to add/remove/update the domains you manage. Plenty of customizations and the fact that it's almost plug n' play makes it my no 1 choice. Will certainly recommend this to others. Cons Not a single one.
