Head Coach Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Economical Meeting Platform with Good Collaborative Features" February 13, 2026 4.0 LiveWebinar is a less costly alternative to platforms like Zoom, especially for small businesses (mine) or for example nonprofit organizations that simply require basic hosting features. LiveWebinar easily handles file sharing—uploading documents, distributing session materials, and even sharing edited versions during a live meeting goes very smoothly. However, the downside is a steeper learning curve to use platform features. The interface can be complex for moderators, particularly when managing collaborative tools like whiteboards, breakout interactions, or switching between media types. Anyone planning to host sessions—especially interactive ones—will need to spend some time getting used to all the controls beforehand to ensure a smooth experience for participants. Pros LiveWebinar is less expensive than having a business or personal account on Zoom, for example. Downloading of session materials is also easier (sharing documents and sharing edited documents, for example). Cons The end user experience is a little bit complex, especially for moderators, so you have to spend some time beforehand learning how to use it before hosting sessions (especially if you want to collaborate, and do so in more than one medium). What we like the most is the capability to custom brand the layout. Pros It has a lot ot features as custom URL, livestreaming, but the most relevant for us is the capacity to make a custom branding of the player. Cons 1\. It has everything I'd want and more. It's super versatile for funnel webinars and regular client meetings, or team meetings with breakout rooms, training sessions, etc. Pros Livewebinar is easy to setup - it's full featured, and can prepare templated rooms and presentations. I feel it's more secure than Zoom, and far more flexible, with many more functions. Cons Sometimes new people/clients don't know how to use the interface. Bubbles showcasing where the chat and buttons to turn on/off camera/mics might be helpful. Pros It was easy to set up the webinar which was a recurring series and upload my slides before the webinar. The email marketing was useful too as previously, I would do this manually. Cons The free plan was a little restrictive, but at least I was able to test it out to see how it would work when I get a paid plan. This makes it very easy to move between shared documents during presentation. In other systems, you have to 'stop share' and then 'start share' with a different file, which wastes a lot of time. Cons The animation in ppt is lost when the file is uploaded. Another big PLUS is that the headquarters are based in Europe. Due to GDPR laws this is a big advantage over any other companies from the US. Cons Nothing I could think of at this moment. The UI and UX are good, the pricing is very affordable, and the tool doesn't make you feel like you're running with the turtles. I've had issues while running a video conference once and the support team was extremely supportive. Great service with great people! Pros User can login directly via browser. The subscribers can easily understand the interface and als have no problem to take part in the webinar, to talk microphone or even camera and ask questions. Cons LiveWebinar’s notifications are in English, and it’s not possible to translate them to another language. LiveWebinar integrated with many popular email service providers (17), but not with all of them (like FluentCRM or Sendy). It also has only Zapier integration.
