### "A true learning partnership"

This has been a genuinely collaborative relationship – the Thinqi team have taken the time to understand exactly what we are trying to achieve and have worked with us in an advisory capacity to bring this to life. Thinqi’s openness to ‘getting stuck in’ and both supporting and challenging our thinking has been critical to the development of our products and the progress we have made in using the platform.

Pros

The Thinqi platform is easy and intuitive to use. Courses and networks have provided us with the perfect tools to build engagement and foster a learning community within our alumni population. The built-in content tool makes the development of bespoke and engaging learning journeys an easy activity and the reporting functionality and proposed analytics flow provide the data and insights we need to a) justify our investment and b) support a business case for further investment.

Cons

We are using the Thinqi platform to provide content and digital learning assets to a variety of different learners, with different needs and requirements. Our challenge has been working out how the platform architecture allows us to do this without compromising on their learning journeys.

### "Thinqi ticked all our boxes and then some more!"

Our own dedicated Customer Success Manager (CSM) is excellent and they really took time to understand what our needs were, working with us to develop they system at each stage. We have almost weekly training and discussions on how we needed to use the system for new variations of courses or changes with our usage. The system takes a bit of time to fully understand in the backend because it can do so much and has so many options you can go for. The CSM however guides us though the options and is always on hand. Our experience has been far less stressful than I thought it would be and I look forward to further developments in the future. All cost are included, including training and tweaks, so we never had to get approval for any changes.

Pros

Thinqi are always updating and developing the system, keep us informed and show us the new capabilities in the weekly sessions. Many ideas and capabilities we mention wanting or needing are often already in development or just about to go live! The system looks smart and modern, allows us to change the look depending on our customers, tweak how some part of the system function and has all the key features we need that we rarely saw with other systems, such as competency mapping; self-assessment; Off-line (F2F) events as well as online; customisable role management etc. Anything we can't do is easily requested and, as long as it's not a development, very quickly done. The company is UK-based, which was essential to us for our IT Security and had all the relevant security certifications we needed to push this through our procurement system.

Cons

Reporting is extensive and much better than our previous system, but we are not able to develop our own reports and have them send out via email on a schedule which we can do on our Event Management system. Help desk is currently fairly basic as you cannot see the progress of issues or see previous ones. However weekly contact with our dedicated customer success manager helps with this. Both these issues are likely being developed though, knowing Thinqi.

Reason for choosing Thinqi

Luckily, Thinqi was one of the first we looked at and it looked like it most suited our needs right from the start and was the one we compared all the others to. They met almost all the long list of requirements and were able to work with them on those they could not immediately meet to or find alternative options. We were also restricted to UK-based supplier, although there were few non-UK systems that ticked all the boxes Thinqi did that were not massive international organisations, which we did not want.

End of contract with the current supplier and wanted to develop our capabilities, linking it into our Event Management System and website and allowing automated shopping of online learning which our version of Moodle was not able to provide. We rarely had contact with the supplier and everything had to be requested and paid for.

### "Integrated Learning and Talent Management "

The relationship with have with Thinqi is extremely strong, underpinned by Thinqi's desire to understand our needs as a customer and their dedication to improve the platform for all there customers. We have worked closely with various members of the team, who are all committed to improving the platform, but also ensuring the relationship with us is open, transparent and customer focused. The customer support team are always happy to help answer all questions (however silly!) and have excellent knowledge and unlimited patience. Although there have been challenges along the road of implementation, we are very happy to have Thinqi to support our Learning and Talent Strategy.

Pros

Social learning and networks are a great advantage for our organisation. The ability to create courses to deliver a multitude of programmes, from onboarding through to leadership and qualifications cohorts. The ability to categorise learning by catalogue, but also by competency to allow colleagues to build knowledge and gain expertise in current roles but plan for any other role in the business. With the forthcoming Talent Management functionality we will have the ability to monitor performance and drive culture and behaviours directly linked to learning available within the platform. Events management has become much easier for both administrators and end users, and the ability to award badges for events has been great for us.

Cons

Badges and compliance are not easy to deliver and manage, but improvements to this area are being made. Reporting is difficult, and in order to meet our regulatory reporting requirements we have to use an IMP and Power BI. Previewing learning built in Playlists and Courses is difficult. Assignments are clunky to use and put out easily. Using imagery in the system is clunky as different areas require different formats and size requirements and it is very tricky to get images in playlists to display well at times. The very short release cycle of every 6 weeks can be difficult to manage in terms of testing, updating internal guides and materials and ensuring all administrators knowledge of the system is up to date.

### "A great modern learning platform"

The Thinqi platform looks modern, has its own built-in content creation tool, is easy to use for admins/end-users and is backed up by a great support team. We initially purchased the system to roll out our mandatory compliance training, but are now planning to use it for new employee onboarding and learning pathways for existing staff.

Pros

The Thinqi 'Playlist' function enables you to quickly create your own bespoke learning content whilst also including other resources from the web. Not only does this save a lot of time, it's also very cost effective as you don't have to purchase a separate authoring tool to create your own content. These playlists can be viewed on their own or added to assignments, courses and badges to create a really great learning experience for end users.

Cons

Some of the admin required when adding a new user can be a bit time consuming, but this depends on how you set up your platform. We have a number of networks and content folders and you have to add users individually to each of these. Having said that, the Thinqi team are great listeners and are already working on a smoother process for getting these set up.

Traineasy used a moodle platform and whilst it was functional, it wasn't very eye-catching and didn't provide a great end-user experience. We also had to produce our own content on a separate authoring tool (Lectora) and whilst this was provided with our licence agreement, it was very time consuming to create content. The alternative was to pay extra for them to create the content for us.

We have appreciated the friendly service from all of the team and felt part of the evolution of the platform. The team are always open to new ideas and ways to improve and seem to be continuously improving the product. I like the way it is easy to manage and set up our spaces in the platform and add our own or curated content for each programme or group.

Pros

it is intuitive and easy to use to build a strong digital learning offer alongside our live training and facilitation. I particularly like the events feature for setting up one-to-one and group coaching supervision sessions for people to book on to.

Cons

It has been an evolving process for us over 7 years so each new feature is carefully explained as it is introduced. Occasionally we have had a few glitches but always dealt with quickly. It would be good to copy and paste content from network to another more easily where we run similar programmes multiple times.

Reason for choosing Thinqi

Recommended by a client at the time so we saw it in action and liked the look, feel and capability. A good values match with the Company behind the product too.

From the offset the product is modern, easy to use and engages users. Limited training is needed, and the platform provides a flexibility that allows customisation and can be tailored in order to further deliver against our vision and goals. Since we have launched the platform and public facing web pages and resources, the engagement and user base has continued to grow and gain success at pace. The platform is an enabler in our vision and the Thinqi team have been incredibly supportive, responsive and passionate in making this vision possible. This relationship has been at the heart of this work.

Pros

The ability to create an extensive range of leadership networks, development of engaging learning content, hosting of virtual conferences and events and the ability to feed into enhancements aligned to talent and succession planning strategies. The supporting tools and capability to create engaging user journeys that empower all to realise their leadership potential through a range of leadership resources and offerings hosted on the portal and aligned to learning pathways, badges, competencies and success profiles all recorded in a personal learning environment.

Cons

Any areas for improvement or enhancement suggestions are welcomed by CDSM and interventions around these always actioned or embedded into pipeline developments. For instance we are now looking at incorporating bespoke registration processes with the option of capturing of equality, diversity and Inclusion data which will allow us to continue to enhance the platform and offerings to ensure it us accessible and inclusive to all.

Excellent customer service by CDSM staff give us the opportunity to work in partnership using Thinqi as our prefered learning tool for our customer base.

Pros

Thinqi gives us the opportunity to reach our market nationwide with a high quality bespoke e-learning product for police officers and police staff who are under going the National Police Promotion Framework and the National Investigators Examination. Thinqi provides a simple to use platform for learners at a reasonable cost to the organisation.

Cons

More in-depth management performance data for corporate clients.An individual performance tracking tool for learners to ascertain and gauge performance on the MCQ database and quiz function on the playlist functionality.

We implemented Thinqi as we needed a LMS that could be reached globally that was easy to use and supplemented our face to face learning. We needed to be able to house learning centrally and standardise learning practice which we can certainly do with Thinqi.If Thinqi could develop reporting and learning transfer assessment, it would meet more of our needs.

Pros

The impactful features are the ease of creating learning modules and the variety of templates which are increasing with time. It is very easy to use both as administrator and user/learner.The set up and visual impact is great. It is engaging for users and admin.Integration was easy.

Cons

I think the ability to test the learning needs during a module/playlist needs to be improved as does the assessment of learning transfer. I find "assignments" a little clunky to set up and there is no other way for us to assess people on individual submissions.Badges needs to be developed. It is very one dimensional and isn't fit for our certification needs.I haven't yet used the reporting properly but will be getting into that shortly. We have been hesitant in using this as we want to do all our reporting through one platform and this isn't possible as yet through Thinqi e.g. we cant record hours of training delivery.

It was the most fit for purpose platform and the client engagement and customer service was phenomenal (and still is!).

Pros

Getting our training up and running on an online platform during COVID was imperative. Thinqi made this a relatively painless experience!

Cons

Some of the features don't look as up-to-date as I'd want them.The lack of networking with other organisations who are using the platform.

From the get go, working with Thinqi has been great, they have excellent staff on the help desk, and the rest of the team work to find solutions when you have an issue. They have always gone over and above what is asked of them, and work with us to make sure they keep developing to meet the needs of their customers.

Pros

The fact that you don't need to be technical to use it, i have trained non LMS orientated trainers to use it in very short spaces of time. To create content, is easy after a short lesson

Cons

There are 2 things that i would add to this, and i know they are part of the road map. A free type box for learners to type assignments into to. Some extra authoring tools. But i know both are planned, so not an issue.

Reason for choosing Thinqi

A number of reasons. 1. Easy to show other trainers how to use it. 2. Easy for users. 3. their communication all the way through. 4. They came recommended. 5. They actively want to do a good job. 5. GDPR compliant. 6. I cant speak highly enough about their service. They have service plans, but they seem to see that as a minimal and always go over and above what they state.

### "Reliable, easy to use and very well supported"

From the very outset the team were helpful, friendly and supportive. our virtual tutorials have been brilliant. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] with the tech team have been awesome. Our first course is working well and becoming more popular and we are about to finish our second. I honestly thought that doing this was beyond me so to have our training live on this platform is excellent. I can unreservedly recommend Thinqi to any prospective customers, reasonably priced and well supported I think you will struggle to do better.

Pros

We came to this project with zero knowledge or experience of e-learning platforms. I am not particularly IT savvy but with some excellent mentoring I was able to master the system and to construct a full two day professional course in workable modules. The system really is easy to use with simple templates for simple people like me. Quiz and questions formats are easy and the facility to pull through videos to provide blended learning is excellent. Uploading documents and inserting links etc is very simple. The team are helpful and responsive, there were always going to be teething problems (usually our fault) but the team were quick to help us resolve these.

Cons

I haven't encountered any serious issues and can whole heartedly recommend the software

We looked at several products, some were over-priced and we didn't get the same supportive feel from the team. It was obvious that sales and operations were in synch which is often problematic. Check out thinqi I don't believe you will regret it

Excellent company and very very supportive team.

Pros

It is built with one thing in mind, allowing course creators to easily facilitate accelerated effective learning, and it does it brilliantly.

Cons

Not much to say on this really, as with all platforms, you have to put the effort in to learn how to use it, but the return is worth it.

We have really enjoyed learning how to use Thinqi, and having it become the base of much of our work. Being able to combine features like the Library, Networks, and learning achievements in one place is important for us. We are still learning more and more about the platform each time we add something new.

Pros

We love the network feature, as we are all about building communities of practices, we want our users to share their own knowledge with their communities.

Cons

We have had some minor issues with images (file type and size).

### "A bit of bang for your buck"

Pros

There is literally so much out of the box with Thinqi, all of which has enabled us to think of and implement different strategies for our diverse audiences - from recently recruited graduates with minimal experience, all the way to qualified teachers who need the skills and frameworks to adapt to our delivery. It also supports the actual delivery and sharing of learning content and resources - all integrated with a simple-to-use back-end interface.

Cons

Aesthetically there are improvements that could be made to the back-end interface that would improve the user experience. Further, more control over the raw data and the flexibility to create custom reports would be a most valuable development. Lastly, out-of-the-box integrations with other digital products would also be a huge boon for us as a small organisation with big digital transformation objectives.

Pros

The team at CDSM (Thinqi) worked in partnership with us to ensure our September launch to schools went seamlessly. Their team helped us to respond to user testing feedback, and worked in an agile manner to ensure the most critical elements were all in place for launch. It was a pleasure to work with such a knowledgeable and professional team.

Cons

The reporting in the platform is limited. This is a feature that I know they are in the process of improving.
