With certainty I can say that it is easy to implement and manage. Therefore the learning curve in my case was very fast. In a couple of days I was already analyzing my installations with the work team. For my team it was also easy to learn. Pros There is something I love about AkitaBox, and that is that it allows me to know the energy consumption in a precise and comfortable way. and comfortable way, since together with my team we manage more than 30 installations all over the city. All over the city. So my job is something that needs a lot of logistics and AkitaBox is ideal for my needs. Cons I can say with all certainty, that I have not found a weak point in AkitaBox. So it is a very solid software, which in my personal opinion has nothing wrong with it.But if I were to look at very small details, I would like the mobile application to be faster. Pros Visually it is very striking. End users really like the features of seeing the floor plant to direct Facilities to the area they are requesting help. Cons It is not customizable and the reporting tool really does not do anything of value. I wind up crating excel reports as the system itself is unable to really quantify their work. January 19, 2024 2.0 I believe with the proper installation and communication between the installer and the user that AkitaBox would be a good asset to any large maintenance department like ours but can not be for sure because that did not happen here. Pros It is set up nicely and has potential. Easy to navigate. Cons The installation was bad the company came in here and identified hundreds of pieces of equipment and called the items whatever they wanted to and it has cost me personally lots of time. I have also received some really amazing feedback from my team about the performance of AkitaBox. Pros It is difficult to decide which feature I like the most of AkitaBox, because it is a very complete and amazing software that has many good things. If I have to decide for something, it would be the interactive maps of AkitaBox. This feature is the one I like the most. As I mentioned before, when we implemented it in our work team, we achieved great improvements. It eased the burden on a large part of our team. This is why I will always recommend AkitaBox to any company that wants to automate their facility management efficiently. Pros What I like most about AkitaBox is that it allows me to automatically manage everything related to automate the workflows of facility management. Our old system was very slow and laborious to handle. With AkitaBox we improved our performance by 400%. We checked this by reviewing the current and old statistics. Cons Regarding my personal experience with the use of AkitaBox, I found only one thing I didn't like, and that was when I started using the mobile application. Sometimes the application stuck and did not start correctly, but this was solved and only happens in rare occasions. So when I implemented AkitaBox it was something noticeable. Pros Personally, I am a worker who does a lot of administrative work with my mobile phone. That's why what I love most about AkitaBox, is that it allows me to perform my management tasks and installation analysis comfortably anywhere I am from my mobile phone. Cons What I liked least was something specific. It happens that the application presented problems when starting in different devices, but that was only at the beginning of the implementation, and all those problems were solved through support. We recently purchased insights, and I am very excited about the reporting in the future. I consistently tell people they should switch to Akitabox for their work order system. Pros I love how easy the software is to use and the multiple ways our students/staff can enter service requests (Portal and/or QR codes). I also love the learning center with all the articles and videos that show me how to get the most out of the product. Cons I wish there was a way on the Admin side to pull easy reports for open work orders per employee. (Maybe there is and I just haven't found that yet). Change is always difficult. I could not have been happier with the way it was received and used from the very first day. The thing I love the most about AkitaBox is the way it organizes and tracks nearly everything we do. We no longer have multiple spreadsheets in different locations. Everything we need and use is in one spot and data is available from IT to landscape. Cons This is probably more of a pro for this product than a con but when you find that AkitaBox is improving so many different aspects of your organization the temptation is to attempt to use it for things it wasn't designed to do. January 17, 2024 5.0 Overall, the system is fairly smooth, and leaves lots of room to integrate the system more to our needs. We use it, and as we learn it more, we use it more extensively. It is a system that grows with us. Pros I love the convenience of the asset tracking. It’s also a great system for the organization of maintenance communication. Cons Fairly minor, but I wish I could customize some of the labels in the drop downs. For maintenance, I usually click custodial, because it is the best option of the available. Granted, I still haven't implemented all that i want in there and keeping up with district changes and updating pictures is tough, mostly because of my time constraints. The tools are there. Pros For what I use it for and what I have plan for it in the future, the square footage is paramount to scheduling my operational staff. Asset management is also very important, to be able to pull up at any given time what year our carpet, hvac, classrooms, restrooms, gym, cafeteria appliances are is invaluable when planning and forecasting future purchases and budgets. Cons I would like the maps and the printing of the maps to be better. Clearer and also be able to zoom in and the icons have separate zoom function to not overpower the maps when zooming out. Labeling maps to our specific needs would also be beneficial. Fitting a map that fills the page to print would be nice. Reason for choosing AkitaBox When looking at all three, AkitaBox looked more intuitive and to honest, the rep I was working for did a great job selling us on AkitaBox. Work orders, assets, maps, & comments. It's a one stop software that makes work efficient. Cons The thing I least liked about the software is the amount of work that goes into getting all your information into the system. Akitabox does a great job of doing the initial upload of assets but there's a ton of additional information (warranties, owners manuals, etc.) that can be uploaded that takes time. Once you have everything in the system it's a huge time saver that will pay dividends in the future. This is a great product and at a great price point. Our staff finds it very intuitive and productivity appears to be trending up. Pros The features that allow interactive floors plans and asset tracking with a quick link to Work Orders have made the use a program like this indispensable. Cons The preventative maintenance portion of the program needs to be more robust and customizable. In addition the Service Request to Work Order process seems unnecessary. The notices are very efficient when it comes to receiving an email on what is happening next with the work order or petition of certain services. Have used the software for over 5 years now and have used multiple different ones and this is by far the easiest that we have used. Pros How easy it is to add asset's and add work orders, and manage equipment that we have at our facility. Cons Can't really think of any issues that we have had. Like any program there is always something that may happen but when we notify them they always resolve the issue. I like that I can make updates for the team and it's easy to edit the submitted orders. I also like that the website works fairly well on mobile screens.
