Yup, you read that right. And I'm not speaking about the usual offers and other dross that also tend to come from abandoned newsletters, specials etc. It used to be that all of these emails land in my inbox, from different clients and software tests, and I'd have to sort them. Furthermore, you sometimes just want an e-mail with which to temporarily test something, and if it WORKS, continue with it (so not just a standard burner mail, that you may lose). Since Paced Email came around, which I bought for under $50, my e-mail inbox has sanity, my customers have a bespoke e-mail to which they KNOW they can send things, my system tests go to specific places, and the tools I test have their monthly digest. Oh, and I have sanity and clarity in my inbox. Trust me, if you are running an agency, you cannot thank the creators of Paced Email enough. I know I couldn't. Pros The updated plugin makes the creation of new email inboxes super easy. Bespoke emails to allow simple sorting and scheduling of delivery is astoundingly easy. It keeps my inbox clean, manageable, and sortable. More than that, it keeps me, and my inbox, sane. Oh, and letting the first mail through as an option? Inspired! Cons The only SLIGHT gripe is finding the inboxes if you want to access them outside of the delivery schedule. You can't just click on "inboxes" in the plugin. Rather, click on "Paced email", which takes you to the site, whereupon you click on the dashboard, before clicking on the address, and then mailbox. You CAN, however, just have the digest delivered for fast access to a specific mail. Paced Email helps me to organize not only my inbox but also how I approach my to do list so that I am not overwhelmed by all the email I have to scan or read. Aside from that, using it instead of my real email helps me to control what kind of emails gets sent to my list of email addresses. Pros One of the real world problem that paced email helps solve is to reduce email clutter, its a brilliant solution that helps you reduce distractions and at the same time not missout on any of your quirky emails that you like to read. The new feature of being able to generate disposable or temp emails that get forwarded to you is an icing on the cake, the price point is super affordable and the ease of use puts it on the top. Pros You can schedule the email addresses to send digest of each inbox either on daily, weekly, or monthly basis. You can create disposable email addresses for newsletters, trials etc and I can pause or delete each inbox and start with a brand new one, whenever you need to! You can send anonymously from within the tool. You can create categorised email addresses which you can then filter into actions or buckets using email rules. The developer is always adding new features. Cons No dislikes. It does what I want it to do well with extraordinarily little interaction required on my behalf. The only improvement would be to support two factor authentication using email confirmation or google / Microsoft sign in rather than an authenticator program. It sends email digests, or summaries, on a regular basis so that you can keep up with what's going on in your inbox while still getting some work done. The option to choose frequency is very handy. Paced Email has been really helpful for me because it helps me stay focused and productive at work. I love how easy it is to use and the support has been awesome. The user interface is amazing, clean, to the point. The inbox deliverability is amazing. Features are excellent and the support is excellent. One another cool feature is the temporary alias email addresses you can generate and dispose of once you have used them, no more unsolicited emails! I got it, didn't do anything with it for about a week, then sat down to "learn" it , it is a thing with most software products, and then found that there is very little to learn and it just works. Been using it ever since. Pros It enabled me to clean up my email by both scheduling when I get some of them and using burner mails for things I dont want to have my actual email, and/or that I only want to see once a month. Daily/weekly/monthly paced emails, and then the burner function basically cleans up 99% of my inbox so I can better focus on things that matter. July 13, 2022 5.0 Don't even know where to start... but this has proved to be a total Game Changer for us. We had no idea what a difference this service would make for us until we started to actually use it. Prior to that it sounded like a "nice" idea, lol. But being able to pace our mail and to group all the mail from the same sender has saved us more time than I can say, and also allows us to stay more focused on mission critical aspects of our company (without the constant flow of non-mission critical communications in our Inbox constantly begging to be dealt with). If you're on the fence- I can say with full confidence you should be using this platform! Pros The platform is easy to use, very intuitive and it only keeps getting better and better. The developer is open to feedback, has a public roadmap (huge for us trusting our vendors, and where they are headed) and is genuinely (and enthusiastically) interested in improving the platform, and user experience. The ability to use our own subdomain is beyond huge and there are no limits to how many unique email addresses we can setup. The ability to send from these is very useful as well. You can also set these up for multiple recipients (so like a mailing list). We love that we can create unique emails and then schedule how often we get them, as well as the ability to delete them if we start getting spammed. The "rules" you can setup go a long way to customizing the functionality as well. I could go on and on about how great this platform is- just get it so you can see for yourself (and I am not in any way affiliated with them, btw). Cons Nothing we can say long term... the few things we'd like to see (like a folder for sent items, the ability to add a signature to emails being sent, etc) are all on the short list of upgrades they are working on. We even had some fields we felt should be included in the settings first page, which they are now moving after hearing our feedback. The only con for us is that we didn't start using this sooner! Reason for choosing Paced Email We chose Paced Mail for the current functionality, as well as where they are headed (shared via their public roadmap) and because we can use our own subdomain (our previous provider, BurnerMail, had our email domain blacklisted which was a nightmare for us.
