“there is one main approvement i think they should make and that is a lot of industries uses square and they do offer it for online purchases but should also integrate it for in person also, they are partnered with 360 payment and i think its wrong to charge people per transaction then also charge a monthly fee on top of that. “

It was overall okay. Writing invoices was very easy and they presented a very professional feel. Navigating the software was king old of clunky and awkward. Sometimes the vehicle I wanted to add just wasn’t there. The vin decode did work well and the integration with Carfax was nice.

Pros

It’s got everything an automotive shop would need to survive in the digital world. It offered all these features at a fraction of the price of its competition.

Cons

It’s kind of clunky. I used it primarily as a mobile mechanic and the phone interface leaves a lot to be desired. It is function, don’t get me wrong, it’s a scaled version of the web app. I’d like a slicker, easier to use and navigate interface.

Overall, this is a great software solution for small shops. It offers great value for the price, and I was impressed by how easy it was to get started. The software's capabilities are well-matched to its price.

Pros

You get human customer support. Replies to question fairly quickly. Bugs and issues usually get fixed fairly quickly. Always continuing to improve the software. Great value for money compared to the well-known companies in the same field. Lots of extras are included compared to the large companies. It has pretty much what one may need to start out without breaking the bank or contracts.

Cons

Still lots to improve in the accounting and integration with QuickBooks. Purchase order numbering is still not working 100%. Inventory management in keeping records of what you order, how the inventory gets into the system and creating duplicate parts in inventory where one should be able to trace back to the work order/invoice is not available.

I feel it has potential and I will hang on until improvements are made because I feel it is going in the right direction overall.

Pros

Value for money is the major pro with this software. I like features that make things easier. The Labor Definitions. Invoices take less time than with other software.

Cons

Interface, Slowness, Syncing, Integrations and Invoice template are in need of some upgrades. Emailing feature has had some hiccups with customers. Major information that should be more visible or prominent.

ARI has been essential in making my business easier to manage and saves me tremendous amounts of time making my business more profitable and giving my customers better service.

Pros

I love the AI labor guides. They are fairly accurate and the small changes that I do have to make save me hours over what I used to spend to create quotes from scratch.

Cons

It also deals with the AI labor guides. Occasionally it will create a guide that is incorrect for the vehicle. That is selected. There is no way that I have seen to get the AI to correct the guides.

The primary reason that I chose ARI was cost. I am a small mobile mechanic. All of these other products were created for large shops. The cost was to high and while they had some features that I would have liked to use there many features that I wouldn’t and couldn’t use.

Overall experience with ARI has been a blast, super responsive and in the time I have used ARI I have seen 2 UI updates. Just showing how much they are wanting to update and improve their platform.

Pros

The thing I like the most about ARI is how organized everything else. I mean from customers to vehicles to tax information. It is all super easy to find and navigate.

Cons

I think maybe the thing I like the least about ARI is the M1 integration. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't it really is just kind of hit or miss sometimes with how the M1 labor time integration works

THE PRICE POINT IS NUMBER 1. BUT EASE OF ACCESS IS GREAT AS WELL. WOULD PROB WORK BETTER IF I HAD TIME TO SIT DOWN AND FULLY LEARN HOW TO USE ALL ITS FUNCTIONS. MY CUSTOMERS RAVE ABOUT IT TOO! SMS INVOICES ARE DETAILED FOR THEM TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IM DOING TO THEIR VEHICLE.

I'm extremely satisfied with ARI during the period that I have been using it and I plan on continuing to use it in the future. I look forward to the future updates!

Pros

What I like the most about ARI is the amount of features if offers for the price point, I like the integrations that ARI offers, it makes everything much easier and I don't have to navigate to multiple software which is a huge plus. Another aspect that stood out to me is the customer support, the response time is extremely quick and very open to feedback, they have been really helpful and the response time makes work so much smoother and quicker. I also love the fact that ARI offers a client portal and customer relationship management features. Overall I'm very impressed with the quality and service that ARI provides.

Cons

Some things that I would like to note are the limited invoice template options (enabling qr code for custom invoices, editing certain fields, like moving phone number below email for the default template, etc.) The license plate decoder is also buggy at times when pulling vehicle information.

Overall, I have been very impressed with ARI. They are on par with the more expensive guys for a fraction of the price. They are always making improvements.

Pros

ARI has been a great investment for my business. As a startup, I needed shop management software to keep my on track, but couldn't afford $300 per month or more that other companies charge. I settled on ARI and am so happy I did. For a fraction of the price, I can track customers, vehicles, payments, and workflows. ARI has inspection sheets, The best AI labor guide I have used, reports to show me what my business is doing, and sends my customers service reminders. ARI also integrates with Square, QuickBooks, Mitchell 1, and Parts Tech. I love the parts tech integration because I can order parts right from my estimates. They are also quick to respond to customer support.

Cons

ARI offers A LOT for the money, and as a result, there is some stuff I don't use. A good example is the Invoice status menu. ARI offers 11 different statuses for invoices but I only use four or five. I wish these features were customizable.

ARI is great so far. despite the learning curve, it is intuitive and easy to use, I like the layout and the integrations as well!

Pros

ARI is great! We especially enjoy the ability to give customers a "customer site" where they can follow along with the repair process. We also enjoy being able to offer financing and the price for ARI is super cheap for the amount of value they provide! Customer support is great, they respond quickly and have solutions ready. Creating estimates is a breeze with the AI function. I am not worried about security either because it is all on the cloud!

Cons

it can be a bit of a learning curve. Also, I am still unsure if the estimates that I have written on ARI will stand up to the insurance companies requirements? I guess we will have to wait and see. I do not like how the "markup" works. I should be able to mark up some things and not have to mark up everything.

Ease of creating RO using license toget information and being able to work on the phone through text make it very user friendly

Cons

Accounting side of software doesn’t make it easy to transfer to QuickBooks you should be able to automatically finish something and it transferred or give you the option to transfer immediately

WONDERFUL, finding an invoicing and client management system that is cost effective is very hard. ARI meets all our needs!

Pros

It has everything we need as a smaller shop with a GREAT price tag! We use the invoice, vehicles, and client features and dabble with the others.

Cons

I am unsure why it populates multiple accounts for each employee and I can not get down the accounting feature but we do not require them for what we need

I have been in the Buisness from tech to shop manager service writer and parts now a Buisness owner and this is a very well thought out system that’s easy to use with some knowledge of how things work! It is the very best reasonably priced software on the market and I have used many of them!

The initial setup is the only part that I did not find user friendly and still need to make some changes now to the pricing system!

My overall experience with ARI has been extremely positive. I run an automotive service business and efficiency matters a lot when you’re balancing estimates, invoicing, customer communication, scheduling, and repair documentation all at once. ARI simplified that process and made everything much easier to manage. Before using it, a lot of time was wasted jumping between different systems or manually keeping track of customer information and repair history. ARI centralized everything into one platform and made the workflow far more streamlined. It helped my business look more professional while also improving organization and saving time every single day. One of the biggest strengths is that it feels built for real world shop workflow instead of being overly complicated. The software is straightforward, fast, and easy to learn while still offering powerful features. The AI tools especially help speed up writing estimates and repair descriptions which saves a surprising amount of time throughout the week. For the price, I honestly think it delivers more value than many larger and more expensive shop management systems. I would absolutely recommend it to independent shops, mobile mechanics, or anyone starting their own automotive business who wants a professional system without spending a ridiculous amount of money.

Pros

ARI has honestly been one of the best investments for my business. It has saved me a huge amount of time by keeping everything organized in one place instead of bouncing between paperwork, text messages, and multiple programs. The workflow is clean and easy to use, which makes creating estimates, invoices, repair orders, and customer communication fast and professional. The customer portal is a huge advantage because customers can approve estimates online, view invoices, check repair status, and keep track of service history without constant back and forth communication. That alone cuts down wasted time massively. What really surprised me is how useful the AI features are. They speed up writing estimates, repair descriptions, and customer communication to the point where it honestly feels faster and more efficient than some of the larger legacy systems like Mitchell or ProDemand for day to day workflow management. For a smaller shop or mobile business trying to stay efficient without spending a fortune, ARI is extremely cost effective. Overall it helped me operate more professionally while actually reducing stress and saving time.

Cons

The biggest thing I wish ARI had is the ability to upload or attach videos directly into estimates, inspections, or customer communication. Photos are great, but being able to send customers videos of noises, leaks, suspension movement, or live diagnostic findings would make communication even stronger and help build more customer trust. Other than that, there are a few small areas where additional customization and deeper workflow integrations could improve the experience even more for advanced users, but nothing major enough to outweigh the benefits of the platform. Overall the downsides are minor compared to how much value the software provides.

Pros

Our shop loves ARI. It helps us effectively and efficiently keep up with our daily and monthly workflow. The book your own appointment link has been a great resource for getting new jobs from our online advertising. The customer support, don't get me started. \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team are always quick to respond and always help when we have an issue. If it is something the program doesn't yet do, they work it into their next upgrade and poof it now does what I need it to do for my shop to run our way. I think that is the coolest feature of this program. Value for the money is top of the list. I couldn't ask for a better system for the price we pay. Being a very very small shop the value we get for what they charge monthly fits perfectly into our budget. We can't say enough great things about ARI. The program is the best, the customer service is top notch, I wouldn't trade it for the world. We are a very happy team.

Cons

Don't really have any cons. When we run into an issue, they are quick to point us in the right direction or add the fix to the program. Who could ask for more?

Pros

I give this product a 5-star because it delivers excellent value for the money. it has helped improve workflow management in our shop by keeping things organized, saving time, and making daily operations run smoother. overall, it is a great investment that has made our small business more efficient and productive.

Cons

occasionally a few glitches, loading after loading if you exit and return it goes away. Also from time to time, it will glitch and not allow you to add appointments to personal calendar so you will have to log off and log back in for it to be fixed.

I really enjoy the program. I wouldn't change to another. Everything helps me as a new owner who has never done this before

Pros

ARI is great at just about everything it offers. I wish there were a few things i could do. But there are no bugs that i have encountered that they didnt fix right away. Security is great, worth every penny. Customer support is helpful. Repair status is helpful, but not necessary. Workflow management is helpful. Car info is very helpful. I wouldnt change much.

Cons

I would love to be able to fix estimates without making a whole other one. Or remove items to add to another without having to make a whole other one
