Using the service to post videos without having to store files on my local server or having to use a branded player from one of the bigger hosting companies. The ability to place your own ads and locking the video to a specific domain is also very useful.

Pros

The ability to CNAME and create custom players for various websites, creating a sort of CDN for companies and businesses.

Cons

No complaints so far, haven't needed to contact support either.

Pros

API was super easy to set up and linking my sites for backups was a breeze. The amount of storage for the price beats all of the competitors and the support has been helpful every time I reached out, which was probably once or twice the first week of using it years ago, because it's been nothing but smooth sailing since.

Cons

I really can't think of anything. I suppose there are some alternatives out there that have more features, but I'm not even using all of the features that Publitio is offering. I think one item that bugged me was that I wasn't able to upload PDFs. Not a dealbreaker of course, but more like room for growth.

As mentioned above, when I first sign up for a product I test how helpful support might be in case I need them. Cloudinary has always been great, but for their price I expected nothing else. Publitio was amazing too, even more friendly and personal. Cloudimage was sub-par. Not only were they unwilling to help one could even say they were unfriendly and rude. Soooo... again, Publitio for the win!

Not so bad. Their UI isn't very user friendly and disappointed to see it remains pretty much the same.

Pros

It has domain-level protection, enhanced HLS encryption, watermarking features. on-the-fly resize, watermark, crop, quality transformations.

Cons

It has only the fly url-based transformation of video manipulations. but for those who do not need it, there are other providers like JetPack Video and Vimeo Pro. I think with them you can upload as much as you want, there is only monthly limitation. I do not really deal with videos daily. Just bought it few years back when it is on lifetime deal. Some other companies are much more expensive, costing more than $100/month. But they have extensive features like engagement, commenting, chat, poll and much more. There are also new startups, providing features about the same, but pay-as-you-go pricing is lower. I think Publitio really need to catch up on this.

### "Great choice for video marketing, promotions, short presentations and hobbies"

We started using the free version of the service and when it turned out that there was a need to buy the plan, we bought it. To be honest, we were very happy about the purchase. I must say that we have video files between 100 - 400MB, approx 2h long, recorded and compressed by Zoom. In our experience, the service is not suitable for LMS video files. On the other side, the service is good and you will be very satisfied if your videos are for marketing purposes or if you plan to use the service as hobby video hosting. If you are looking for a service to be used for key things in business, decide on the Premium plan with a monthly payment rather than free or Lifetime options.

Pros

I like their WP Plugin and the vision that everything works everywhere, but the service lacks speed when it comes to video approx 2h, and I think technical stability, too. I am eager to see their work improve, about that. On the other side, they had a good way to follow your video performance. Everything is quite simplified for the user, and the upload of the video file itself is transparent in terms of options that can be changed later. There is a way to save the previous selection and to select the options when uploading by one clicking on Preset, which is a lovely detail.

Cons

As I say, I like the simplicity, but the most that are missing is the loading speed for longer videos. I must say that everything is good when you just watch a movie, but we have courses and people need to pause, to skip, to manipulate the video and that's bad. And, I do not like the way that they do not address customers when they occur to malfunction. Before asking, I never know if the problem is on our or on their side. But, support is there and if you need help they will answer your ticket.

We are using Publitio as a central storage and delivery location for shared content used by our different sites. The video, image and document delivery performance has more than exceeded our expectations. The tools and resources for managing the assets have made it easier for the less technical team members to upload, manage and distribute or use.

Pros

The cost and ease of use compared to Amazon S3 has made this an improvement in our content storage and delivery for videos, images and documents.

Cons

For how we use the system we do not really have any concerns at this point.

I love using Publitio, and I'll continue to use it for years to come. It helps me host my videos on my websites super quick, plus no one else can watch my videos on other domains.

Pros

I loved the ability for custom domain protection with HLS Security

Cons

If you move files, the urls change also. This is annoying if you want to tidy up your files and folders, however, not a deal breaker.

overall happy with the tool and glad I went with them over competitors. I'm hosting online courses and it has been reliable and fast rendering for my customers

Pros

Price and ease of use are the main reasons I went with Publitio. I am purchasing "forever" storage so, in the long run, it will save me a ton of money!

Cons

Not clear on some things about uploading files / formats. For instance, by default the tool automatically converts your videos into a bunch of different formats (eating up a lot of your monthly bandwidth for the conversion) this isn't clear at the beginning and I would have disabled it sooner. Also, there are not many training videos (and the ones that do exist have poor audio)

Pros

The features I love the most are the ability to use the browser to make a variant, the ability to put watermarks, and the ability to connect it to other programs.

Cons

I cant think of any features at the moment that this program doesn’t have. It is a full turnkey solution.

Pros

Integration with google drive to easily upload files from there, without having to download them and uploading them again. cname to custom brand links wordpress plugin to serve content through their own cdn and to offload the site is amazing!

Cons

Dashboard interface is not as clean as one would like or expect from a cloud based media asset management. I would like more integrations with Dropbox, Onedrive and pcloud.

Really favorable, I would jump in again. I hope that the software keeps evolving with its users. The fact that I'm redacting those lines at the moment definitely gives me trust that we are in good hands. Thank you to the Publitio team!

Pros

HSL encryption to protect content and the opportunity to "invest" early on into the platform to get lifetime access.

Cons

Some features aren't so instinctual to me. For example, how to set a thumbnail of a video, that you must upload them to your media library and then select it into your video setting instead of uploading it directly into your video setting and the thumbnail "living" there and not in the media library. Haven't dabbled into the "versions" feature of the software, can't really find a use for it for now. Having advanced analytics, would certainly help me in my marketing endeavors.

Pros

Publitio is an excellent service for hosting and sharing media files. I have been using it for about two years. It has never let me down. It also provides fast speeds, which are excellent! Publito has helped us to speed up our videos so that we can upload them quickly on YouTube, as well as share them with the world through social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. The best part about Publito is that they can help optimize your images by adding SEO tags (which will increase traffic). You need to make sure that you choose an image size appropriate for how big your audience's screen will be when viewing it on their computer screen! It also allows us to add SEO tags (which will increase traffic).

Cons

It can be a little confusing how to change the formats of your pictures, but once you get it figured out it is pretty easy.

I used so many other video hosting platforms but when I came to Publitio then I got accurate satisfaction because it fulfills all kinds of expectations including FASTEST streaming and uploading videos with perfect security. There are lots of other competitors that have the same features but Publitio is different than others because it provides the best quick support too. Easy to upgrade. Better UI to understand easily. Any non-technical people can also understand easily.

Pros

Very easy to use. Do not need to read any support guide. Best speed of upload and streaming with better UI. Also available It has tight security with HLS and easy customization for custom branding. Quick support with the perfect response. What else we are looking for.

Cons

Still I did not find out anything. Whenever find out definitely update this.

Quick and simple to put into use System for the Management of Cloud-Hosted Digital Assets Quickly and easily store, upload, convert, safeguard, and monetize your digital photographs and videos. One host for all of your files, with zero additional hassle.

Cons

File organization could be better. It's not that current folder structure is bad, but as an advanced user a more detailed file management system would be ideal for me.

Pros

CDN needs comes up a lot for me and my clients, so it has proven really useful to have Publitio that I can use and refer to them. The automatic uploading of files to their CDN, is really useful

I've been very happy with Publitio. I've looked at other options, but they don't compare. Publitio does what I need it to do. And it does it well.

Pros

I bought Publitio as an alternative to Vimeo. It was easy to get started with. Not only do my videos look great on my website, I've got the analytics to know how well they're performing.

Cons

It's a bit cumbersome to have to upload thumbnails separately from the video. But once I figured that out, I just made it part of my workflow.

Pros

I am able to store my videos on Publito and then use the software to help me stream on other online course platforms.

Cons

Trying to find some of my videos is a little difficult. The archiving process is a little confusing and its hard to remember where everything is.

Overall it functions the way I need for media storage so all is well. all the media I have needed has been saved and never hard to access when I need to share assets with my team.

the UI/UX could be updated to be a bit more modern. It feels a bit outdated so I just upload and download as needed.

Pros

The file name doesn't change when it is uploaded. Then it is easier to embed on webpages.

Cons

If the bandwidth limit is increase, it will be better.
