### "Local Gov website Review "

Pros

Local Gov 's website is easy to use. I have had good experience with their customer service department for any issues I have encountered.

Cons

We use a debit block on our bank accounts and when paying the taxes on the website it is unclear what ACH ID will be used to pull the money from our account. We have had issued with several ACHs being blocked because we didn't have the correct ACH ID on file with our bank. I had to work with customer support to obtain the correct ID and get it set up with our bank then re-submit the payment.

Reason for choosing Localgov

We are required to use the website to file the taxes with certain local governments, so we didn't choose to make the switch.

Pandemic questions and issues concerning the process.

Pros

Easy to use. Consumer friendly. And so far no troubleshooting issues. Overall a great product for anyone to use.

Cons

As I get along further with the product I'll be sure to let you know.

It's just OK for now.

Pros

Not much I'm liking about it, its easy to get in and out of but it needs to do more. See below.

Cons

There needs to be a feature just like with our Washington State B&O tax report where you can put the date that it needs to be paid. If I do it today then it comes out of our bank by tomorrow yet the report is not due until the last day of the month. It also should total the gross sales for you. I have to pull out the last report and then add the current sales to that report. It should do that for everyone.

### "Lodging Tax Filing"

I use it to submit my lodging taxes to Erie County in Sandusky, Ohio. I haven’t experienced any difficulty using this system. I am pleased with the ease of using it to withdraw the funds from my checking account. Don’t love paying taxes…but this helps to make it easier!!

Pros

I like the convenience of submitting my lodging tax bill online.

Cons

I have never used this type of system before so I have nothing to compare it to.

It's made my monthly/quarterly tax filings go a lot faster.

Pros

I like that filing taxes for my company is very seamless. If I ever do have an issue it seems like the information I need is available.

Cons

Some questions/information needed seems redundant.

It makes it fairly easy to stay on top of my local taxes for short term rentals.

Pros

The software is simple to use and easy to manage. It is quick and easy to upload documents needed.

Cons

I wish that I could get reminders for when my taxes are due. I also find it difficult to check what payments have have been made already. It would be great if I could integrate it with my Airbnb and VRBO accounts.

It is easy to file and pay all in one step, instead of having to file a paper copy and cut a check for tax owed.

Pros

It is easy to navigate and does not take long to file at all.

clumsy, doesn't retain all of basic fields from month to month, no reminder settings for payment/filing deadlines

Pros

Compared to other sites/software I use to file Hotel Taxes, this is one of the user friendlier one's I enjoy filing with.

Cons

Nothing that I like least about it. I don't know what else to say here.

As a user, I don't know what it was like to set up, but using the software is a breeze. It's nice that they made these taxes so easy to pay -- unlike the IRS!!!

It's a much easier way for us to pay our BGRs.

Cons

The final printout of records makes it difficult to find how much was made and spent for our BGRs, and its not easy to see how much was paid in previous months.

Pros

Super easy to pay tax instead of waiting in line. Easy, simple, fast. I hope they accept more payments online.

Cons

Hopefully if we could pay other taxes online also.

It's been simple to follow an understand but I've only been using it for 8 months.

Pros

The software is easy to use and the menus are simple to follow.

Cons

The only con is that I can't choose an automatic withdrawal date. Whenever I submit a return, the money is withdrawn immediately. I would like an option to choose a date the money is withdrawn.

The city of Huron uses the program so the home owners can pay the fees. I use the program 2 to 3 times during the summer. I usually have to call the city for help navigating the site.
