Pros

I am extremely satisfied with Cargoson. It has helped me save a significant amount of money and time. The platform is very easy to use and intuitive. I simply enter my shipment details and immediately get a clear comparison of different transport options and prices. Without Cargoson, it would be impossible for me to manage and compare all these rates efficiently. Over time, I have saved thousands of euros thanks to this platform. Another major advantage is the automatic notifications sent to customers via the Cargoson system, which improves transparency and makes the entire logistics process much more professional.

Cons

So far, I have not experienced any real drawbacks. Cargoson has fully met my expectations and works exactly as I need it to in my daily operations.

However, when using Cargoson, even these smaller carriers can manually update milestones, truck numbers, or delivery statuses directly into the system for their customer. This way, they become comparable with larger carriers who have automated tracking systems, providing more visibility and control over shipments. I am very satisfied with Cargoson. It makes my job much easier, eliminating the need to visit different shipping companies web pages and looking for the right contacts to ask price quotations from.

Pros

I like the simplicity and quickness, both in creating the shipments and communicating with the shippers'. I like how easy it is to ask quotations from many different service providers at once and then choose the best option based on their offered prices.

Cons

If I could improve anything, then I would improve the automatic price calculation when shipment comprises from different types of packages. For example one EUR pallet, one HPL pallet and one package. At the moment the automatic price calculator does not display the price for such shipments automatically.

If these times don’t align with reality, this is something to address with your carrier partner. Cargoson TMS itself is a logistics management tool for manufacturing, wholesale, and retail companies, designed to work with all freight partners, but it doesn’t influence carrier service quality. 😏 Thank you for sharing your experience and give us such a good review. They just do not have technical capability and we send these attachments to them separately via e-mail. On the bright side, integrations with FedEx already allow us to send Goods Invoices, and DHL Express takes it a step further with both Goods Invoices and Export Declarations seamlessly supported via our TMS. If carriers update their technical capabilities, we will gladly make the necessary developments on the Cargoson TMS side to provide all possible functionalities. It has been very good. The main problem that has been solved for our company is overview and communication between carriers and our own employees.

Pros

One place to place transport bookings to all of our freight partners. Also, it is absolutely easy to compare all of our freight partner's pricelists and transit times. Delayed Shipment report allows to only get notifications about those shipments that are late, so I only have to deal with the transport orders that really need my attention. And customer support is also super friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask more really to be honest. Keep up the good work ;)

Cons

Sometimes carriers tracking statuses are not updated in real-time, but that's probably not a Cargoson issue, but a carrier tracking issue, as it comes to our Cargoson account from carrier own e-portals.

The easiest part is getting all the offers in one place, so it's really easy compare prices and delivery time.

Cons

I don't know if the dates are automatic or what, but sometimes the delivery dates shown are wrong. Then we still have to contact the carrier to see what the real time would be. Also we have heard that some of our carriers have uploaded the pricelists, but we can't still get automated prices.

I use 1-3 transport partners regularly. I can manage them all in one software. Also we have ad hoc deliveries and new customers then this software helps us alot to always have a solution ready.

Pros

Easy way to find alternatives for current partners and partners for new transport routes. Also I like that I can still have the same relationship with my current transport partner and continue using them via Cargoson.

Cons

There transport booking window should have more information fields. I also feel, that if I share tracking information with my customers it would be nice if they had a visual tracking on cargoson webpage.

Overall it has been quite good experience. Before Cargoson ordering transportation was nuisance. Now its very easy and cheaper aswell. Also for a smaller company like us, i can see that they take us more seriously.

Pros

Main thing is, that everything is in one place. I do not need to have account for every transportation company. Comparing prices is very nice. Creating orders is easy and as it saves all addresses its very easy and quick sending cargo to place you have delivered at least once.

That you cannot edit orders after saving them

Regarding editing orders after saving them then there is actually this possibility in each shipment. You just have to click on the "Edit" button on the shipment. And when making changes then click on "Save and notify" then the carrier will be notified via e-mail of the changes made accordingly.

Pros

Cargoson brings all the couriers together onto one platform and that makes handling different partners much easier than without it. Not to mention all the smaller features that Cargoson holds, like tracking links, price quotes from different couriers, and statistics.

Cons

As we hadn't used anything like Cargoson before, it was more like that we didn't find any cons with the system. A win-win situation for us :)
