The ease of use and the great dressing and UX makes it super easy to use by everyone, both experts and beginners. Pros Stacks is my daily go to shop for almost everything office related, from managing my daily task to everything related to note taking. I highly recommend this app for everyone who work either alone or in small teams. The speed and the simplicity is unparalleled. Buck well spent. May 15, 2023 5.0 Stacks is the main tool I now use to plan and track various projects (both in the company and personally), allowing me to use the same tool to capture information from the brainstorming start, through to the project tracking and management. Pros Stacks has many features comparable to other products which use the Kanban metaphor to organize information. However, the key feature for this user is that the database is self-hosted (can be either on a PC/Mac or cloud), which means one can have the information in a secure setting, with appropriate backups. Cons The integration with other apps, and availability of access via smartphones, is still something under development. Reason for choosing Stacks All alternative products were assessed from two perspectives - ability to support a Kanban approach to task tracking, and the ability to self-host. It definitely helped with managing my assignments and projects in school. I could also see myself using it for my creative projects in the future. From day one the devs have also been very helpful and responsive. As this app is still in constant development, they take into account requests and have been releasing great updates. I look forward to the growth of this app. Pros The features that are crucial for my choosing an app are offline functionality, reasonable pricing and nice UI. All of which I found in Stacks. I was just looking for a simple kanban app that fit the above checklist and Stacks gave that and more. More included other ways to view all tasks. My most used views are list, table and calendar which reminded me of Notion's. The dashboard also gives the numbers on how many things I'm supposed to do, have done or are overdue. As a student with a ton of requirements, all this has been helpful for me. The thing I love about it is the simplicity. I am able to categorize my projects and boards in a way that makes sense to me, so that I can always get a clear picture of what needs to be done and when. There are also other helpful features like the traffic light information Pros I've tried a lot of Kanban project management apps and none of them were as intuitive as Stacks. It offers an uncluttered interface, is easy to use, and doesn't have any of the fluff that other apps have. I can't believe such a straightforward app was developed - this is what I've been looking for! Cons I never thought that I would find a project management tool this good. Pros After experimenting with other project management tools, I discovered that Stacks was the greatest fit for my requirements. It offers a user-friendly interface and several features that are available in both the free and Pro versions. The price is reasonable, but the security is superior! Now I have it! I can go off grid with Stacks and still keep track of my workload easily. It also has a geo feature I've not seen elsewhere - you can set a real world location for your tasks and see them on a map (pro only). I haven't made great use of this yet but I imagine it's going to come in handy in future. Especially useful the board view. Pros The UI is very polished and easy to use. Behind the first impression of simplicity there are a lot of features, very well placed in order to not overwhelm when you make a simple use of it, but easy to find when you need them.
