I also appreciate PledgeIt's desire to add features that make the platform better all the time. The service, logical conversations and problem solving discussions we had regularly with \[sensitive content hidden\] were not just helpful but a gamechanger! Pros We really appreciated the client support and customer service, ease of use and ease of navigation as well as PledgeIt's continual improvement of the platform. We're a professional services organization that has now recommended this to other organizations for their clients, but our own clients to the point where we will only work with PledgeIt for new clients. They benefit from our proficiency as well as the benefits of PledgeIt. Cons This wasn't a negative, but it might be a benefit if we can templatize the reports we regularly generate. " November 4, 2022 5.0 Pros I liked that this was user friendly and easy to set-up. The reporting was very straight forward and collected all the information that was needed. I also loved that those who created a pledge knew when they were going to be billed. The reminder emails were also great for the golfers reminding them to close their page. It made managing campaigns straightforward and created a seamless experience for donors. Cons The only challenge so far has been getting fully comfortable with the reporting features, since we’re still learning our way around that area. She responds promptly and makes everything run smoothly. Pros We have been using Pledge It for many years now and it's our only fundraising method. It is so easy as \[sensitive content hidden\] sets everything up and our players follow the instructions. The ease at which the whole campaign runs is the best part. We wouldn't use any other fundraiser, and I have shared Pledge It with other organizations in and outside our school. Cons I really don't have any complaints, nor can I think of any real cons. We raised more than $40,000 with no hassles and at a very low cost. Love it! I have been running peer to peer fundraisers on multiple platforms for more than 10 years - and this is simply the best I have found. I strongly recommend it to non-profits for its ease of use, reliability. and spectacular campaign and tech support. It is a great platform and a terrific team. Pros Pledge It was a very comprehensive platform that allowed our virtual Race for Research fundraiser to engage our community with an easy, clean user interface. Cons There were a lot of layers to figure out to make sure everything was completed. It was easy to work through, but there were essentially two separate parts within the dashboard which made it a tiny bit confusing. Also, there was no easy way to handle family or team package sales. It was missing a lot of features and didn't do a great job of pulling the community in and engaging them. PledgeIt works well to pull participants in and keep the race vibes going - even virtually! She helped pull statistics and was very knowledgeable about the integrations with other platforms. We were also glad that the Pledge It team accepted our feedback and would often quickly turn around with a solution and add the new feature. Cons It is sometimes confusing for our participants with so many options of actions on their dashboard. Engagement Manager Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "PledgeIt review " July 10, 2023 5.0 The platform helps us push towards our fundraising goals for the campaign and makes it easy with the various features externally and the admin features, on top of the staff support we received from the moment we created the page all the way through the end of the campaign. It truly felt like we were receiving the best customer support and their team was proactive with a lot of upgrades and tech issues. Pros The software is very user friendly and we've seen upgrades each year that have made our experience better with each campaign cycle. This year was by far the best, between upgrades for the participant experience, and for the admins on the back end (example copy emails, customized template blocks, etc.). Having Strava integrated with the platform is also a huge win for us, something that ended up becoming a game changer to have our participants track their miles rather than manual entry (for those that use the app already). Cons We use MailChimp for our campaign to send out very specific storytelling messages about our programming, mainly because MailChimp has a lot of tools and features to do this. Unfortunately the PledgeIt messaging system doesn't have these features, but we did use the messaging feature to help us target specific audiences, like $0 fundraisers, and send them short messages to encourage them to fundraise. Pros The most important feature was the drop down feature where race participants could choose from over 1300 schools to support with their donations. This was the critical piece that made the event successful. The ability to find their tiny rural school in Jamaica is what mobilized people to start donating online and it became a friendly competition between schools and their alums. The leaderboard was another feature that donors enjoyed and fueled the competition even more. Cons The inability to register more than one race participant under one email address. Cons The fact that one parent could not sign up both of their kids with one email account and the fact that I could not set up the entire fundraiser as the Administrator of the event. I would like to have access to add in all of the holes played on the back side of the site and set up the initial invites to all of the team captains and players on each team. They were so calm, answered every question, showed incredible patience with us, and made sure we knew they were there to help whenever we needed them. Cons At first there wasn't a lot of flexibility on making the page formatted the way I wanted but they have improved that. Also having the ability to post videos right on the page would be an excellent improvement. Most importantly, Pledge It has no fees which makes it even more valuable for nonprofit organizations. On a personal level, working with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was truly wonderful and fun! Ability to create different layouts, categories, offers a more personal site for the user. Reminder features, email templates for donation, welcome, thank you, etc. Cons Would have to go to each fundraiser's page to remove "featured" activities, instead of on the "featured" layout.
