I also appreciate PledgeIt's desire to add features that make the platform better all the time. The service, logical conversations and problem solving discussions we had regularly with \[sensitive content hidden\] were not just helpful but a gamechanger! Pros We really appreciated the client support and customer service, ease of use and ease of navigation as well as PledgeIt's continual improvement of the platform. We're a professional services organization that has now recommended this to other organizations for their clients, but our own clients to the point where we will only work with PledgeIt for new clients. They benefit from our proficiency as well as the benefits of PledgeIt. Cons This wasn't a negative, but it might be a benefit if we can templatize the reports we regularly generate. They understand who our organization is and who we support and are actually knowledgeable about our content. Their customer service is unmatched! You will not find folks with this level of responsiveness or knowledge anywhere else. Cons I would have said the cost to use them, but with the customer service I have experienced so far, I am ok to pay a little extra to get their top notch service. " November 4, 2022 5.0 Pros I liked that this was user friendly and easy to set-up. The reporting was very straight forward and collected all the information that was needed. I also loved that those who created a pledge knew when they were going to be billed. The reminder emails were also great for the golfers reminding them to close their page. We are so grateful we did! Pros I absolutely love the website's easy user interface and sleek look. All of our families have raved about how much easier it is to use than our last website. Cons We would love for Pledge It to have an Apple Pay option for donors and a way to connect to Facebook Fundraisers. November 4, 2024 5.0 Birdathon events have very specific requirements in a donation platform and not all peer-to-peer options allow you to do things like make a pledge per bird! Our old platform went out of business very close to our event and Pledge It helped get us up and running with a user-friendly and great looking site with less than 2 weeks notice! Pros Great customer support, easy to use, nice design/layout, and a great fit for birdathon events. Cons Supporters are not able to make a pledge per team, only to individual participants. Users frustrated by the reminder emails they received (but they also weren't following the directions and could have entered the info and stopped receiving reminders...) Alternatives considered [Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT](https://www.capterra.com/p/247647/Blackbaud-Raiser-s-Edge-NXT/) Reason for choosing Pledge It The Blackbaud option that would have integrated with out donor database was very expensive and would not have allowed us to customize for a birdathon. It would be great if we could integrate with NXT in the future to save data entry time. We raised more than $40,000 with no hassles and at a very low cost. Love it! I have been running peer to peer fundraisers on multiple platforms for more than 10 years - and this is simply the best I have found. I strongly recommend it to non-profits for its ease of use, reliability. and spectacular campaign and tech support. It is a great platform and a terrific team. Pros Pledge It is easy to use. Suzanne's support was very helpful in getting the event (campaign page) to look perfect. Cons The photo images (for the auction) are limited. Pros I loved how easy the platform was for setting up and allowing fundraisers to easily register and fundraise. Cons I didn't like the tipping model, I think it confused a lot of our fundraisers and it made accounting difficult for our controller. I just can't ask our donors to pay 5.9% platform/cc processing fee so it was really our only option. I understand Pledge-it needs to make it's money somehow, but I was hoping it wouldn't be so "in-your-face" while donors are trying to check out. June 11, 2024 5.0 We are very happy to have made the switch to Pledge It this year. There is no shortage of choices when it comes to registration platforms but Pledge It works to make the transition as easy as possible. Pros Their customer service is exceptional. All of my questions were answered quickly during the initial setup phase and then throughout the following months during registration and fundraising. Cons Does any system do exactly what you need it to do in exactly the way you want? Pros The most important feature was the drop down feature where race participants could choose from over 1300 schools to support with their donations. This was the critical piece that made the event successful. The ability to find their tiny rural school in Jamaica is what mobilized people to start donating online and it became a friendly competition between schools and their alums. The leaderboard was another feature that donors enjoyed and fueled the competition even more. Cons The inability to register more than one race participant under one email address. She helped pull statistics and was very knowledgeable about the integrations with other platforms. We were also glad that the Pledge It team accepted our feedback and would often quickly turn around with a solution and add the new feature. Cons It is sometimes confusing for our participants with so many options of actions on their dashboard. They were so calm, answered every question, showed incredible patience with us, and made sure we knew they were there to help whenever we needed them. Pros I signed up my nonprofit to do a fundraising campaign and it was a huge success because the portal and interface were easy to use. Also having an awesome customer service rep that was available to me made any questions or concerns never a problem. Cons At first there wasn't a lot of flexibility on making the page formatted the way I wanted but they have improved that. Also having the ability to post videos right on the page would be an excellent improvement. Most importantly, Pledge It has no fees which makes it even more valuable for nonprofit organizations. On a personal level, working with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was truly wonderful and fun! He offered so many great ideas and his "office" door was always open for questions and help. Looking forward to working with Pledge It on our next fundraising event. Pros Ease of use. Ability to create different layouts, categories, offers a more personal site for the user. Reminder features, email templates for donation, welcome, thank you, etc. Cons Would have to go to each fundraiser's page to remove "featured" activities, instead of on the "featured" layout. No photo attachment when emailing groups. Cannot email to an individual fundraiser or donator.
