We were able to smoothly transition from using a paper-based system or generic spreadsheet for maintaining study participant information to consolidating it into this system with its great filtering options and ease of use. This has allowed our site to identify potential leads quickly and most accurately for specific study protocols. The system is simple to update and offers features that are most beneficial for viewing necessary trial and participant information at all times. When changes need to be made to participant visits and clinic schedules, we are able to simply update to the correct status and enter notes that are trackable and visible to all staff. This supports convenient and clear communication across our entire research team. Vial Connect is a great product to integrate into your research clinic and it’s certainly benefited our site in many ways! Cons At this time don't have any issues with this software. It also helps manage your day-to-day patient visits and keep everything accounted for from revenue, study timelines, and enrollment goals. Cons The software can be slow to load at times. It is very simple and easy to use but can be limiting when wanting to perform more complex functions. Luckily the support team is very hands-on and will try to expand its capabilities. We do not have to go into each patient's binders to find their personal information. I can click on the patient's phone number and it will automatically dial the phone number. We can see our enrollment goals at a glance. It enables us to schedule patients, send reminders and confirm appointments easily. We have access to all of the patients contacted for each study and the reasons why they did not continue or if they were screened, randomized and where they are in the trial.
