My overall experience is wonderful. The website is user friendly and great customer service is always provided.

Pros

Their customer service is amazing. When I have any questions or concerns I receive a response in a very timely manner. The website is easy to use and if we have any issues a solution is always provided.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that I sometimes need a hand with setting up negotiated rates, etc. This issue is fixed immediately once I contact customer service as they walk me through the steps.

Onres has allowed us to boost our online presence through major booking platforms, and provided all the essential needs of a small hotel like ours and more. Group Bookings, Room Assignments, Housekeeping assignments and a way to link directly into our website for bookings were all game changers and the price can not be beat.

Pros

Onres being a Canadian Company is a plus. Their customer service is excellent and very prompt at addressing concerns.

Cons

I have not found anything I would place in the con column. For the price you are paying it offers what we need and adds updates frequently.

generally very positive. they do not contact you to try to constantly upsell, but are available when assistance is needed.

Pros

allowing people to book and amend their reservations without the assistance of staff has decreased our workload significantly in office.

Cons

There are some areas that could be a little more user friendly on the back end.

Really great & I like how I can get a Human on the phone no problem when I have a question. No crazy phone tree Push 2, Push 5, Push 1 & never get a person.

Pros

There are a lot of features! Most software that has a lot of features charge a high monthly rate. I get this great price with OnRes PLUS all of the great features. You can't beat that!

Cons

I don't enjoy the new dashboard preview once I log on... it's an additional feature which, how can you get mad at extra features right?... but I don't use it so it's just an extra step for me.

It is worth every penny. Because we are in a small rural community we often experience power outages or our internet goes down and the support is always right there.

Pros

The support from \[sensitive content hidden\] is beyond reproach. The system right from the beginning is so user friendly. I am self taught on the computer and I have had no issues that I couldn't figure out myself or \[sensitive content hidden\] couldn't talk me through.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything. It has been easy to train all of our employees on how to use the system, what the policies are, and where to get help if they need it.

Pros

The staff at OnRes are very easy to communicate with, and the software is reliable. If there is ever an issue, the team is on it right away and is always willing to help!

Cons

The website can be slightly confusing to make changes, for example it is difficult to figure out how to black-out certain periods or remove a black out period.

OnRes collects all reservation from different websites, we are not necessary to go to different websites to check reservations. Easy to set up the rate, restriction etc.

Cons

It is a little bit hard for us to set up promotion in OnRes, and conflict with Booking.com sometimes.

We have complete confidence in the product and it's never failed us. It feel like \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] are part of our team because they're so accessible, willing to assist and are never condescending. We need simplicity, ease of use on the front and back end and we need to know we won't be left hanging.

Pros

It integrates seamlessly with our website, the guests find it easy to use, we can customize it to compliment any promotions we're running and when I need tech support or have just a "how do I..." question, OnRes replies within a few minutes to my emails, even on weekends and for that I'm always very grateful. Best of all, their system has never failed since I signed on.

Cons

I'm still navigating the new updated version 2.0 (hence the "how do I..." questions) so at this point I can't say yet if there's anything I don't like. So far so good!

We wanted the reservations page to be seamless from our own website to preserve our corporate identity and image.

Easy is all I can say.

Pros

I have been in the vacation rental business for 20 years and use to use another product. When I found OnRes six years into my business I have never even looked for another product. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] keeps changing and improving with the market and is always very helpful and pleasant even when what I'm asking is so simple. Even when I was frustrated with my web designer on my reservation portion his team helped me out when I thought there was no options.

Cons

I can not think of anything! Every time I wish there was something extra and I call I find it is now a new part of the system!

I started with OnRes because I had noticed a similar business in my area was using the product. No experience with online booking sites, I appreciated the support as we started. through the years, OnRes has added features and helped with including other booking sites. Adding widgets that have helped my experience. Most importantly, through the years, I was listened to with respect and patience.

Pros

Easy to use and the customer service, when needed has always been timely and resolving problems.

Cons

Just learning to use the software... Technology drags me along with it but, that is why the customer service is key to my usage.

Pros

I was at first most taken by the user-friendly layout of ONRES. Navigating through the functions has always been very intuitive. My structure is very unique in the sense that I have no room category that is identical to the next and ONRES customer service was excellent in customizing to my needs even as far as developing a foreign language side of the CRS.

Cons

Now that ONRES has availability that displays via calendar to our clients, nothing is missing in my opinion. It is a dynamic product at a very reasonable price.

The best part of OnRes is the team behind it; the support they provide our property is top-tier. OnRes' responses to questions or concerns is always prompt -- often immediate! Further, over the years of using OnRes, there have been frequent enhancements and additional features added, in response to the needs we communicate. If considering a booking engine and channel manager, I highly recommend OnRes.

For our property, there are no cons as the software is extensive enough to meet all our needs.

We are a 99 room hotel and having worked in the hotel industry for over 2 decades with both independent and chain properties, OnRes Systems online reservation software is the most user-friendly system Ive worked with. Most importantly, since recently becoming an independent, our online reservations have increased significantly I attribute this mostly to our guests booking experience the process is extremely clear and easy to follow - I highly recommend this reservation software to any hotel!

Pros

There are so many positives with OnRes Systems and their software but to name a few: the booking experience for customers is fantastic; the backend for managing the account is very simple; the staff at OnRes are professional and courteous and deliver and respond to any needs (which are rare) in a timely manner. They provide PMS integration, GDS connectivity, have great Internet marketing partners (which we use) and they are always improving and developing their product.

Cons

Virtually none, but if I had to name one it might be because of the occasional downtime, which is very rare and can be measured in minutes and has only happened a couple of times that I know of. I understand its mainly because of implementing new features and modules.
