Hockey Alberta is into its fifth year with F12 as our IT Support partner. During our time working with F12, we have transformed how we utilize technology, and our business processes involving technology. Starting with computers, we made the switch from owning our devices to utilizing F12's leasing program. F12's service program where they replace a computer that is not working properly (and the troubleshoot it on their time) has proved immensely valuable in ensuring that our staff members have working devices and can do their jobs - and this even includes when an issue arises for staff in more distant areas of our province. A key part of our partnership was the need for our organization to better utilize cloud storage options, but to merge those requirements with the need to have some on-premises server presence. We had a number of previous storage solutions that needed to be dealt with, and F12 created a solution that worked for us both at our Red Deer office, and for staff based in other locations. And then, when we outgrew the original solution, we worked together to figure out a new solution. All of this meant that when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, and we made the immediate transition to working remotely, Hockey Alberta had pretty much everything in place to make that a seamless transition. We needed to get a couple of VPN connections installed, but our business operations were able to carry on largely uninterrupted. As always, when technology is involved, issues arise - but when that happens, we are able to figure out a solution that works for the unique structure of our organization. And, the support desk has not blocked my incoming emails or phone calls, so that's always a good sign!!June 24, 2021

Overall Experience: Our company has utilized the services of F12 for over 5 years. I am always satisfied with our system's security and set-up in terms of relying on privacy and confidentiality. They have a good awareness of any concerns for breeches or areas in our system that are not secure and offer solutions. I feel that there is a good effort made to understanding our company's needs and effort is made to connect and keep a good working relationship. Once your system is set up, you create tickets with a pod assigned to your type of industry. Technicians are assigned the task to work on your ticket and if further info is required follow-up is completed via email or phone call. If emergency care is needed, they do their best to assist as quickly as possible. The only suggestion for improvement is the triage of explaining an issue to the call center attendant who then transfers the calls to a technician. When needing help on a time sensitive manner, this part is frustrating. Waiting for a call back is also something that sometimes can be frustrating however during this past year, we understand work set-up has not been ideal and they do try to fix anything as best they can.

Overall Experience: We were extremely pleased with our 18 month relationship with F12.net as a supplier. We are a consultancy specializing in family enterprise, and were looking for a Canadian data center to host our Canadian family offices for a private web portal service we provided with a US vendor. Hosting outside of the US was -and is - very important to our international and Canadian clients. F12 was willing to take a risk with us and customized service pricing for us. Their technical team was experiences, professional, and very genial to work with. Finley & Associates recommends F12.net highly.

Overall Experience: We are in the 2nd year of a 3 year contract. We previously had a 5 year contract with F12. During that time we have gone from an RDP environment with an on premise server to a hosted RDP environment. We have done migrations, conversions, implementations, etc. . We are usually 100% happy with the service, attention and work product we receive from F12. There have been some growing pains as F12 grows, acquires new client and new companies, but we have been happy to be patient with those growing pains. We have had recent experiences with the help desk in the past few months that are less than their usual level of support. I have communicated those concerns with D.K.. I hope as F12 grows more in the future, we maintain the level of customer services, interest, awareness that our current account manager gives us. I know as companies grow, it is harder to scale up the level of attention received by customers when the company was smaller, however, that level of service is a bar F12 set early on and is one we depend on.
