Pros:

  • Quick and efficient to complete work on a consistent basis.

  • High rate of IT Labs engineers being part of the team for more than 6 months. It is around 75%, which is impressive.

  • A high level of commitment to meeting requirements and on time delivery.

  • Working with IT-Labs has been seamless. The team I have has worked with us beyond my initial expectation. They go above just putting in the time.

Cons:

  • I truly have no concerns that require improvement; great business engagement.

  • The costs are relatively high, it is often causes us should do an assessment of the ROI of FTE vs Contractor.

  • I wished we had more overlap time with the offshore team. However, they were comfortable working later than planned when needed.

  • I would have liked to be in the same time zone in the beginning. After years of working with IT-Labs, the time difference has now become an asset.
