Pros:

  • I have worked with them on multiple projects, and I am always pleased with the results and the process. They are the easiest team to work with in the business--professional, high quality, highly creative (without the ego), and flexible. They "get it" with little explanation. In the end, that saves my company money by translating to less back-and-forth and no misunderstandings that can compromise production. And if we enter the project unclear of exactly what we want, they develop creative to get us to a successful solution quickly.

  • Bottle Rocket is an amazing partner. They listen and work with you to produce videos that you can be proud of, and that truly reflect your brand and organization. Additionally, they have AMAZING customer service. We are what I might consider to be a high maintenance client that asked for a ton of rounds of feedback and edits, and they were up to the task and met us with lots of enthusiasm to make the videos perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a strong video production partner!

  • My company has worked with Bottle Rocket a few times to create videos for our client's websites. They are extremely quick to respond to requests and are willing to do whatever they need in order to help us keep our clients happy.

  • Brett, Dan, and their entire team have been not only super responsive and easy to work with but they make it FUN too!

Cons:

  • If they are all booked up, I have to find a different team. But, sometimes I've found it's worth it to try to shift my schedule.

  • There's nothing I can think of. They exceeded expectations on all fronts.

  • No complaints! We love working with Bottle Rocket.

Pros:
Dan, Brett and the rest of the Bottle Rocket team has always pulled through for us be it creating social video content with our influencers or more comprehensive video productions around Chicago with a lot of moving pieces. I especially love their pragmatic approach to creative production and relentless pursuit to help US make the best work possible, regardless if they only worked parts of the production (location scouting & booking, voice acting & recording, makeup & production) or helped us with every single component of it from start to finish. Lastly, being a startup ourselves with a rock & roll attitude, our entire team has always appreciated their like-minded approach allowing for great flexibility and rolling with the punches while achieving stellar results.
Cons:
There's honestly not much to criticize the team for. If I were to mention one thing it would be a difference in approach to the style, look and feel of the outcome but this all comes down to subjective taste – very rarely do we find agencies or freelancers that nail our look without guidance and a tight brief (we're also very opinionated about this aspect of our brand).

Pros:
RottleRocket Media is the rare combination of big time production with a personal touch. Dan and Brett (owners) are both former Oprah Show alums who are both master storytellers and visual artists in the video and graphic areas. Their expertise and knowledge is unmatched in the crowded content space. Their distinct ability to understand the audience they develop content for, whether internal corporate or external social pieces is especially refreshing. BottleRocket Media is always on time and on budget. They come with my highest recommendation.

Overall Experience: I've used BottleRocket Media for a number of projects, both internal and external corporate video. From concept to execution, BottleRocket Media delivers a beautiful product. They are on time, on budget and extremely communicative. Above all, corporate video can be stiff or uninspired. BottleRocket Media are writers, editors and graphic artists who understand that corporate content doesn't have to equal "boring." They know how to bring business and people to life through visual storytelling. In each project I've completed with BottleRocket, I'm constantly impressed by their ability to think creatively. Overall Experience: Brett, Dan and the crew are top-notch when it comes to delivering projects that need to bring the OOMPH. It's rare to find a team that combines the talents of diehard creatives with technical/organizational wizards, and I've found them to be ideal partners. Their work is stunning...and so is their work ethic. They're also down-to-earth and some of the most approachable, friendly people, which means there is zero too-cool-for-school factor, which can be an uncomfortable side effect of working with Agency Bros. Highly recommend.

Overall Experience: We've had only great experiences working with BottleRocket. The team is incredibly friendly and willing to do anything in their power to make you, as the customer, happy and successful. BottleRocket was filming for us at an event when we found a huge box of swag that needed to be unpacked in short order. Brett simply sat down and helped us unpack, not even a question as to whether it was his job or not. 100% above and beyond!

Overall Experience: I think Dan and his team are incredibly professional and talented. They are easy to work with, easy to schedule meetings to discuss projects, and very deadline oriented. Dan also is very helpful with project development ideas. If I have a vague concept, he is great to help define the project and develop storyboards for me to better visually grasp the end result. Overall Experience: Brett, Dan and the whole crew at BRM were great to work with. From the first phone call with them we knew they understood and shared our vision for the project, and would be able to deliver against a very ambitious budget, timeline and list of deliverables. Not ideal parameters by any means, but BRM rose to the occasion and knocked it out of the park for us. They are as lean and nimble as they need to be, but they are also more than capable and equipped to take on larger projects, that agencies in town might overlook them for. We have already reached out about another project and will definitely have BRM on our shortlist for every project going forward. High quality production with high quality people is what you get with BRM. Don’t sleep on them.
