Overall Experience: I’m the digital marketing manager at Carmanah Technologies. We needed help migrating the website to WordPress and making design improvements, as well as contract a company to maintain our website. More than anything, we had a tight timeframe that we needed to meet. Consensus gave me an extremely detailed proposal, and they’d done a similar project. As a result, I had a reference to see exactly what they could do for us. Further, the feedback and level of thinking I got from speaking with Art made me feel that hiring them was the right choice. The website’s look and feel are better, and the migration has been absolutely spot-on. We’ve experienced no issues there. All the links are checked, and Consensus has gone above and beyond what we’re expecting — we wanted a minimum design lift, but they offered many additional suggestions on what we could improve and implemented them with ease. They’ve given our site an updated look and feel that everyone is happy with. Their attention to detail is impressive. On top of that, they can meet deadlines without too much pushback. We don’t need to hound them repeatedly, which we’ve had to do with vendors in the past. Moreover, they made sure that every element of the website had a consistent level of quality, all within our short timeframe. They were able to help me even if it was the weekend. Ultimately, they met our stringent timeline with 5–6 days to spare.

Our site requirements included functions to facilitate increasing our patrons through ticket sales, donations to our nonprofit, and membership sign-ups. We also needed the site to be easy to navigate. As a result of the work they’ve done on our site, palacetheatre.ca, we had 97% approval rate from our subscribers and we’ve seen an 85% increase in website traffic. Consensus Creative designed the website, implementing the requested elements and assets. The design included photos, videos, and content that captured our mission. Since our theater volunteers took over the site, Consensus Creative has provided video tutorials and manuals outlining how to use the site. Consensus Creative now serves as a consultant — they help us make site updates that reflect our playbill. Consensus Creative has been excellent at communicating through Zoom meetings, email, text messages, and phone calls. Their team promptly responds to my messages — I get responses to any questions I have within a few hours. I always have a centralized point of contact. Overall Experience: We had been looking for a partner for around six months, and we interviewees about six different companies across Canada. After this process, we realized that Consensus Creative was the best company to work with; it all came down to their quality and price. Consensus Creative’s project management has been great, and they have no problem making changes as needed; I just take a screenshot and put arrows pointing to the aspects I need to be changed. They’re very good at that, and sometimes they don’t charge me for revisions. We communicate via phone calls and Zoom video conferences. Having a nice website has helped us solidify our brand. It makes us look as professional as we are, and it helps us attract leads. Consensus Creative is very responsive and personable, and they go above and beyond answering questions outside of their scope.
