  • The thing I enjoyed most about working with Design in DC was how collaborate the entire web development & design process was. I truly felt that my feedback and input was received and employed into the final product.

  • Friendly Staff, dedicated project managers

Cons:

  • A few deadlines were missed with the final launch of the site. Luckily, they made us a one-page website before the full launch, so we didn't have to hold off any crucial digital marketing efforts for very long.

  • The original estimate was a bit off some bells and whistles.

  • My entire experience working with Design in DC was positive!

Overall Experience: We are a small 5 person organization and Design in DC was a great fit for us. We had been overcharged for web work in the past, and DDC's annual maintenance contract was the perfect fit for us. We have hours allocated monthly and the team is quick and responsive. Last week they jumped in and fixed a page on the fundraising section of our site on extremely short notice. We use a Slack channel to communicate and share documents and the process is seamless. They also schedule monthly calls with our comms team to talk over current and upcoming projects so we are on the same page. Needless to say we renewed our contract for next year and would not hesitate to recommend the team to small and larger nonprofits. We really could not be happier.

Overall Experience: We wanted a new website that would uplift our company image and overall online presence. They recommended that we condense many of our old pages into only a few landing pages to make the website easy to understand and simple to navigate. They created a beautiful design that we are very happy with. What exceeded our expectations is how easy it is for us to maintain the website. They build it on Wordpress so it is very easy for our internal team to update the website and add content. We then worked with DesignInDc to build a Web App for our influencer campaigns which has streamlined our process and is saving us a lot of time.

Overall Experience: We are a rapidly growing waste company in upstate NY and sought out Design in DC's services to aid in our growth. Design in DC developed our website and we couldn't be more impressed. Not only did the final product exceed our expectations, but the one on one availability, attention to detail, and nature of their work during the process was second to none. Overall Experience: It’s easy to feel intimidated when building and creating momentum for a small business. Especially when it comes to creating an attractive website. Clients and people in general continuously offer up the best compliments about the site, which makes any business owner feel wonderful! The entire team was responsive and supportive. Isabelle was my main ambassador and she is absolutely FABULOUS!!! Overall Experience: Design in DC really understood my vision for my website and did a fantastic job in designing a very interactive site. Communication was frequent and responses were prompt. They quoted me a very fair price as compared to the other firms I was considering. The delivery date was later then the contractual anticipated date of completion, which is the reason for four stars versus five.

Overall Experience: I can't say enough just how much Design In DC's work has helped my business. The website looks great, they killed it with the animation, and the functionality has allowed me to service more customers than before. They really know their way with branding but also how to make the site fast. The ordering system works very well and it really gets people to want to eat here. They also built the website to be optimized for SEO so lots of new customers are finding me. I am really looking forward to working with Design In DC in the future. Overall Experience: We couldn't be happier with Design in DC. Their team did a great job taking our specific requirements/design concepts and turning them into a prototype site. They worked collaboratively with us to iterate on the design until we were happy with it, then did an impressive job migrating it to a content management system and deploying it for us. After scouring countless design firm portfolios, it was clear to us that Design in DC is one of the few companies that can build a truly novel site on top of WordPress without it looking like a typical WordPress site. If you're looking for a firm to turn your marketing concept into reality, give Design in DC a serious look. They're worth every penny.

Overall Experience: The Design in DC team over delivered on our expectations for our first website as an early stage startup. From the start of the project, our account manager was extremely attentive to our vision and highly responsive to the ideas we put forth.
