I had an excellent experience working closely with Christopher Silvestro and Mystic Media over the course of a year to develop the Bean There Camping App! We were happy to find a local dev agency since our app project was put on by Bean Trailer here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Pros:

  • The team at Mystic was very collaborative. We had many discussions and tweaked things along the way to have an excellent outcome.

  • Silence, quality and speed of response on orders

Cons:

  • Chris is amazing to work with. He was prompt in communication, transparent, and always delivered on time. It took me some time to get used to the processes, but once I worked with Chris to better understand those, everything flowed smoothly.

  • I think that my biggest struggles stemmed from my lack of a tech background and not understanding the importance of me providing better criteria and guidance.

  • Honestly, the team at Mystic has been fantastic. No cons!

Overall Experience: We hired Mystic Media to create a database to organize daily observations from pollution control equipment. Mystic Media was responsive to specific user needs throughout the process. As we ironed out exactly what the database needed to do, depending on the magnitude and deviation from the original scope of work, they were upfront with the cost of changes throughout the project. It has been easy to work with Mystic Media and they always explained issues at a level I was able to understand. The end result is a database with a user interface that looks good, is easy to use, and is organized efficiently. You can tell their products are developed with the needs of the end user in mind!

Overall Experience: Mystic Media is an innovative company producing beautiful technology. They were contracted on a project involving state of the art technology not readily available, where they did a superior job. Initially, we had hired 3 outside engineering resources to assist across multiple platforms, with Mystic Media being one team. As we moved through the project, it became obvious that Mystic Media was the most capable team and delivered the best results for the time and money spent. Communication can often be a barrier when working with external resources, but not with Mystic Media. They were much more responsive, engaging, and resourceful than the other teams! Soon we had Mystic Media take over the entire project which allowed us to overcome the challenges we were experiencing with the other teams. Immediately we saw leaps and bounds of improvements as they worked diligently to get the project completed. The technology worked fantastic, and Mystic continues to be very supportive any time assistance is needed. Mystic Media is very knowledgeable with cutting edge technology, software development, web development, mobile app development, etc. We will use Mystic again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall Experience: We initially developed a Delivery app that would ensure customers got products faster and would allow for up-sell at the point of delivery. We birthed an innovate system with Mystic that allows for up-sell and cross-sell at the point of delivery. Overall Experience: We worked with Mystic Media to build an iOS and Android app for our business. We had a separate partner do the UX/UI, and Mystic was responsible for Development and launch of the app. Overall would recommend working with Mystic! Their team was good to work with - the quality of development was high, we've had very low crash rates post app launch, and they built what we designed, very true to the intent of the UX. I would also callout that we had some inevitable design/functionality changes. When that happened, the Mystic team was responsive to changes and creative in helping us figure out how to solve them while being careful with our budget. We also used Mystic to create the images & videos used in our app store listings and for paid digital/social ads for the app launch. They did well revising creative with our feedback, delivering the needed assets on time, and getting us live! As we have done minor changes & updates since launch, they've been easy to work with on those. The Mystic team has also been responsive to feedback. We had some challenges with the ticket system, they've helped us resolve those pretty quickly and have been very open & responsive to that process feedback. Would recommend!

Overall Experience: This was a joint effort where we developed the hardware interface between our controller and Mystic Media developed the iOS app. Consequently there was a lot of information exchange and testing during the process. The basic user interface was completed by Mystic Media in very short order. The rest of the development was implementation of the various inputs and outputs. The interface retrieves and passes to the door controller via an RS485 communication port. The commands the app sends to the controller via the interface are in hexadecimal. I was very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the development and the "can do" attitude of Mystic media. They are very professional, respectful, and easy to work with. I would use them again.
