I started working for my company a little over a year ago. I needed an IT vendor that would start filling my IT needs. I started with Datalinks where I met Brian and William regarding our Office 365 licenses. This was the start of an amazing relationship with Datalinks, the response rate is very fast. The communication with Datalinks is exceptional, the way Datalinks is very transparent when I need better pricing. I have multiple projects already completed with Datalinks and I give Datalinks my needs of the hardware and they send me the exact quote for what I need but then the best part is then Datalinks sends me also their recommendations on what I can add on and why. Datalinks is always looking ahead in our projects needs for example what if we need to grow and we need more later on, they will cover the future growth. I have worked with Steve, William, and of course Brian. Amazing people to speak to and amazing to how easily it is to speak to them any time throughout the day. I love this vendor and we are going from a medium size company to eventually being an enterprise. We are looking to keep working with Datalinks as our company grows. May 10, 2024

Pros:

  • The communication that I have with my direct contact William is amazing. I contact him directly and he is on standby just waiting to reply. I get immediate responses to my questions or requests.

Cons:

  • Definitely the way the invoices come in. I get multiple invoices broken down from one main invoice which starts getting confusing if whether we are paying multiple projects or if we had already paid that invoice or not. It starts getting frustrating and this needs to improve. I have spoken to William about it but the accounting part of Datalinks needs to improve on this department.

Overall Experience: We asked Datalink Networks to perform a free review of our Microsoft O365 environment. They performed the task and provided us with a very nice report, including an executive overview of our 365 environment, specifically validating our licensing utilization. There were no strings attached with this review. However, we found the Datalink Networks team to be extremely professional, friendly, and caring. Daniel Daughtery was exceptionally great to work with! So, we engaged with them further for additional work, including migrating our Microsoft O365 licensing from self-paid to Datalink Networks as a channel partner. This allowed us to combine all our licensing into one instead of six invoices to pay, and they were also able to provide us with some partner discounting. We then purchased some additional Barracuda Email protection applications from them, as well. I have worked with numerous vendors and resellers over the years, but Datalink Networks has simply been a joy to work with and one of the best partnerships that we have entered into in the past few years. I highly recommend Datalink Networks to anyone looking to engage with an honest partner, and looking for assistance with any new projects, engineering, or licensing work. Overall Experience: When we were introduced to Datalink Networks in summer of 2021 we had entered a position where we were outgrowing our current provider. We needed more strategic planning and cloud support and Datalink checked all of the boxes. Datalink was able to quickly and efficiently implement a full email security suite and save us money on O365. The biggest positive was the planning sessions with the team that allowed us to look at our current environment and move to something that fit much better. We wanted a way to manage all of our remote users, their devices, and protect them/the company. Datalink has been able to move us to a much more secure and centralized environment, in addition to being able to handle all of our break-fix call-ins as well. We are now in the process of a OneDrive Migration and an Azure VDI solution. On top of the great engineering resources, our account team is very responsive and always has our best interests in mind.

Overall Experience: Doctors Healthcare Plans has worked with Datalink Networks since 2020. We have entrusted Datalink Networks with our Office 365 projects, along with our email and network security. We were seeking a Microsoft Gold Partner that could provide us the best pricing on our Microsoft licensing, and knowledgeable expertise in the time of an emergency. We work very closely with Brian and his team to make sure we have the necessary security measures in place to keep our environment safe. The IT space is very complex and everchanging, with new products and engineering expertise required to make our business function. Datalink Networks is an IT partner that I can count on. They maintain our IT environment day in and day out. It is hard to find that in today’s IT landscape. I know no matter the time or day, Datalink Networks will be there to be support my team and I. Overall Experience: I began working with Datalink Networks in September 2022, when I was looking at some O365 Licensing options. Throughout the process, they were able to present me with a comparison of O365 A3/A5 and provide me with a recommendation based on what I was looking to accomplish. On top of that, they were able to offer me a discount on the licensing to help soften the blow of the price jump from what we were previously using. The interactions with Daniel & Colby on these calls were very positive, so when I was looking to procure some other IT equipment and licensing I felt comfortable going to them with the requests. They worked quickly and provided updates along the way, before a quote was submitted and reviewed for approval. Although our working relationship has been relatively new, it has been a very positive experience and I look forward to having Datalink Networks assist me with any potential IT needs in the future.

Overall Experience: I was first introduced to the team at Datalink Networks through a marketing event, where I won a Microsoft Surface Pro. Dave handed off the Surface Pro to me personally in my office. Datalink Networks has since helped fix a fiber cut in our datacenter late on a Friday night when we could not get anyone else to respond. The cut had taken all our remote systems down in the city and was a critical network incident. The Datalink Networks engineering team responded in a matter of minutes. We have also used Datalink Networks to deliver a Cisco ISE project to help secure our network, and implement Cradlepoint routers throughout the Amphitheater for remote wireless access for all of our POS system. We consider Brian, Dave and the Datalink Networks engineering team a very valuable IT resource we can call on for engineering support anytime.

Overall Experience: Datalink Networks took over our Managed IT Services 3 years ago (Feb. 2019). When they came in, they were taking over in a situation where we were being overbilled and kept in the dark by our previous MSP. Not only were they able to provide in-depth documentation of our networks, but they were able to make suggestions to help better protect ourselves and increase efficiency in IT spending. Over the past 3 years, Datalink has transformed our IT environment from a pieced together network with little visibility, to a more enterprise visible one. We have a very reliable backup system, enterprise security on our email/cloud systems, moved to O365, and implemented a next-generation firewall. All of these projects have been completed in a timely fashion and each one is accompanied by thorough documentation. We have had a great working relationship with Datalink for the past 3 years and we are looking forward to all of the upcoming security and compliance projects that we have in motion and planned for the future.

Their level of service has been focused on upgrading our network and overall IT security posture. This has included server and firewall upgrades along with email security and endpoint protection. The Datalink Networks team provided CCF with a new enterprise design for our 4 floor corporate offices located in Los Angeles for utilizing 10Gbps and 40 Gbps backbone technologies. Datalink Network’s engineering team has redesigned our Campus Network, installed and updated Modern Servers, storage, nextgen firewalls and content filtration, and backup systems.
