They're always on top of deadlines, ensuring that everything is filed on time. I never had to worry about missing out on any critical detail because they would send me numerous notifications as reminders. Their ability to remember the finer details about our business showcases their dedication and commitment to clients. It's this personalized and diligent approach that would make me choose to work with them again.

Cons:

  • While I've had a positive experience with Valley Business Centre overall, if I were to express a wish, it would be for them to introduce an express pick-up service for paper documents. It would make the process even more seamless, especially during those times when we're swamped and can't make it to their office.
  • One area that comes to mind is their transition to exclusively digital payments. Initially, I was taken aback when Valley Business Centre decided to stop accepting paper cheques, as I had been using that method for years. However, I must admit that after a brief adjustment period, I found their digital payment system to be more streamlined and convenient. Still, a heads-up or transitional period might have made this change smoother for clients like me who were accustomed to the traditional way.

Overall Experience: I started my cabinet manufacturing business several years ago, and I was quite overwhelmed at the time. Not only that I had to sort out through construction, permits, licenses, suppliers, marketing, etc., but in addition, I had to also set up my books, and most importantly, be on top of them. I was at the point that I wasn't able to take care properly of the bookkeeping for my business, and I felt like I didn't have my finger on the pulse of the financial health of my own business, which made me exhausted and stressed out. A friend of mine recommended Valley Business Centre, as they had been in business since the 90's. Honestly, I was impressed from the first interaction with the team. They were very attentive, kind, caring, and they patiently sorted out the entire mess in my bookkeeping, and in a short period of time. Then they guided me through the process of streamlining my accounting/bookkeeping processes, which became a breeze and I never had to worry about errors afterwards. Everything has been so smooth ever since, and it feels like their team is now part of my growing business. As other have said it before me, Valley Business Centre is the best in the bookkeeping business! It is an absolute pleasure to work with them. Overall Experience: I have been using Valley Business Centre's services since 2019. I purchased my business back 2015 and I had changed a few bookkeepers until I found this team in 2019 and I've stayed with them ever since. Our books have never looked better, and more accurate. Everything is up-to-date and we're always getting helpful answers quickly from Valley Business staff. Our business is in the food industry and we experience a moderate turnover of employees, and Valley Business has been always on top of things when it comes to payroll, issuing ROEs, T4s etc. We are very grateful to their payroll administrator, Nancy, who's always extremely helpful and enjoyable to work with. I am really grateful to the entire team who really cares about getting us the right solutions to accommodate our operation. Overall Experience: Really happy with the bookkeepers at Valley Business Centre. It took me quite a bit of time to find these guys, to be more precise, I had switched from one bookkeeper to another for about 2 years before I found this team. Communication with them is really great, they seem to always stay on top of things, and we don't have to worry that we're late on GST or other government taxes throughout the year. We've been already using for 3 years Valley Business Centre to do our bookkeeping and payroll, and our business has been doing better and better. We've been able to double our sales and employee morale is up. And, this is for the most part due to our accounting process working smoothly. Valley Business team has guided us day by day and provided exceptional services, and they truly are an extension of our staff.

They have solid procedures, the best equipment, an extensive understanding of Canadian tax, payroll, and so on, as well as a keen eye for detail. Overall Experience: Our construction company has worked with Valley Business Centre for almost 3 years now. They have a professional team of bookkeepers, very helpful and thoughtful about our accounting process. In the beginning we had them help us guide through the implementation process of projects module with Xero Accounting, which was very helpful to get our ducks in the row. Later on, we integrated Buildertrend with Xero Accounting, which helped us further improve our efficiency and transparency with our customers. Valley Business Centre team helped us through all this technology changes, and they had been readily available to answer all of our questions. Overall Experience: Valley Business Centre team are the most helpful bookkeepers and payroll providers I have worked with in the Sea to Sky. The pandemic has affected our business badly and their team has been a lifesaver in getting all of the required paperwork together fast so we can apply for grants and subsidies when we needed them. Since then, not only we have recovered but we have also exceeded our expectations for 2022.
