We hired Dedicated Developers to help us build and design both hardware GPS sensors used in the transportation industry as well as the web application and mobile apps to monitor the sensors. The sensors connect the transportation sector to the Internet of Things (IoT). It was challenging to find developers that had the complete package of skills we needed for this project. Lots of companies had the software skills, but not very many had the hardware skills. We were thrilled when we found Dedicated Developers, because they were able to do both the hardware and software designing for us. The hardware they created are sensors used to monitor a wide variety of things for the transport industry. The sensors can monitor speed, acceleration, elevation, breakdown, GPS route coordinates, and then transmit all the data through the cellular network. Our clients can then see all the data points within the centralized application control panel to fully monitor their cargo. They did a lot of initial research and were able to suggest hardware components and sensors that would be the best configurations that would reduce the costs during mass production. They helped us figure out the best components that are reliable, durable and cost effective, so the total hard costs for each finished sensor goes down, and profits go up. They were able to bring the total cost of each unit down by 21%. They were creative while building the prototype sensors, which they were able to do quickly within a couple months. The software they created to run and monitor the sensors uses the latest cutting-edge technology, and connects our industry to the Internet of Things, which is fast, efficient, responsive and very well designed. The hardware sensors they created for us are top notch, and the monitoring software to run and monitor them has been very well received by our clients. Pros:

  • They took time to understand my long-term vision and short-term goals. They developed a detailed scope of work and provided lots of suggestions to improve my app idea.

  • I can assign them practically any programming task, software, or different third-party service to work on, and they’re able to figure it out and support us. They basically have a next-day delivery turnaround, and I can give them a handful of projects and they'll do all of them within a day.

  • I appreciated the communication and responsiveness.

  • A dedicated team member without the hassle of payroll headaches and management.

Cons:

  • No complaints. It was great working with their team.

  • I had a really great experience, everything went well.

  • Not initially knowing exactly the ideal way to set up an efficient system with my clients for managing projects and having the padding time between my communication with a client and work getting organized and delivered back from DD.

  • No complaints. I thought different timezones would be an issue, but it turned out to be nice to have 24 hour work being down on the project.

Overall Experience: I needed a detailed technical feasibility analysis of our project that required strong understanding of the underlying hardware and existing software code. This was needed to find out if it was the right time to move forward with our project. Dedicated Developers came prepared to meet us and understand our physical hardware project and the project requirements. The project is a combination of hardware and software development and we engaged Dedicated Developers for an in-depth technical feasibility, and project strategy. We were able to meet with their technical architects and immediately felt comfortable that they were the right team to work on our project. I am extremely pleased with the outcome and their approach. We worked through a project management systems along with frequent phone calls and in-office visits. They asked great questions that reflected their deep technological background and provided solutions for any challenges that we faced during our engagement. Overall Experience: Our company Demand Products, needed better product listings for its website, I knew exactly who to turn to – Dedicated Developers. Having worked with Dedicated Developers in the past, I knew they were ideally suited to this task. Plus, they are super easy to work with. The project, itself, involved writing effective content for 50 top selling products. The existing content and structure was poor and riddled with grammatical errors and technical jargon that made it difficult to read. The Dedicated Developers team delivered phenomenal re-written content. The revised content improves tone and clarity so that it resonates with the target audience (Construction workers), while not being too simplistic. The copy is also shorter and more inviting, better organized and much more actionable. We are very happy with the revised content. In fact, we have already started receiving positive feedback from team members who are on the front lines interacting with customers, answering phones and processing orders. We are seeing a consistent uptick in online orders that don’t require a salesperson to get involved. We have most definitely received twice the value of its investment in just a short amount of time.

Overall Experience: I wanted a company to perform a UX Analysis, create Wireframes, and build us a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). There was an idea, but I needed to turn that into a solid MVP. The Dedicated Developers team acted as consultants and provided outstanding brainstorming sessions that improved on our original app concept. The UX Analysis was very detailed and was able to shed light on how to best proceed. The team then created Wireframes that clearly laid out how the app would work, and what the best user flow would be. Dedicated Developers then moved on to create our MVP. They have done an outstanding job and now we can take MVP to complete product development. We really liked that while working with them we never felt rushed in terms of providing feedback and we could openly discuss our questions and ideas about the project on the phone. We loved the fact they were always available to talk live and were prompt in responding to our questions or ideas via messages. The project management dashboard also allowed us the ease to access ongoing project discussions when it was convenient and even while we were on the go! The project was wrapped up within a timely manner and was completed with the original estimated delivery time. The whole team is really professional and friendly, and have been great to work with. We would definitely recommend Dedicated Developers to any business that is looking to take their mobile app idea and turn it into a reality.

Overall Experience: We hired Dedicated Developers to develop our mobile apps. We needed a platform that could streamline our customer experience without requiring as much involvement from our team, and that could expand with us. We wanted to design and create our company's mobile apps from the ground up. The apps are for our charity that helps educate underprivileged kids. They did a fantastic job of organizing our thoughts and assisting us in seeing the larger picture. We’re very pleased with their work. The app screens are done, we’ve completed the backend development and now we’re in the internal testing phase. Everyone is happy with the project's direction, and we have a terrific working relationship. In general, we have faith in what they have to offer and are eager to see what they've created. It's worked well because Dedicated Developers is very collaborative. They became a natural extension of our company, and we never felt like we were dealing with a vendor. Overall Experience: We have had an amazing experience with Dedicated Developers. In the past, I have engaged several development firms for design and development. While there is no dearth of talent, most development companies have broken communication. I worked with people that never responded to inquiries and sometimes did not understand the project requirements. Not to mention, once the project was kicked off, getting the complete project delivered was a nightmare. Unreliable and unresponsive development partners were quickly becoming a bottleneck to grow our business. Our quest to find a reliable development partner that also understood how to build a business led us to Dedicated Developers. Wow! Overall Experience: We hired Dedicated Developers to create a B2C platform for people everywhere to engage in meditation using the app as an instrument of enlightenment. We came across them while researching through Clutch. We contacted a few of the top ranked companies in New York and got in touch with them. We exchanged emails and phone calls. The communication with both their development team and co-founders has been very easy and their engagement with the idea for our project was extraordinary. The cost fitted perfectly with our financial requirements. They have developed the platforms for both web and mobile. Most importantly, they created a library for our audio and visual content that is manageable from a web application. This application was created in such a way that we can create, edit and / or delete sessions and even customize them depending on the user as part of the premium service. They are to provide support as part of our business contract after the app goes live. Their full commitment and engagement with our project since day one really captivated us. Overall Experience: My commercial roofing company in Atlanta, GA, hired Dedicated Developers to develop an iOS app for our internal team to use to help during roof repairs, to better document roof issues prior to bidding for the job. I had the wireframes already completed and Dedicated Developers finished our UI designs and developed and successfully launched our app. We encountered a number of technical challenges as what I was asking has neven been done before in the industry and the team didn't give up until they were solved. The developers were collaborative and worked to ensure our app worked for all of our team members' devices. They also created a Master admin panel for our office. Now they’re working on making final adjustments and tweaks. Having this app has increased our internal efficiency by 37% and we’re able to elevate our customer experience and have much higher accuracy in quoting jobs than before we started using the app. The reception from our staff has been very positive. I strongly recommend working with Dedicated Developers team.

Overall Experience: I contacted Dedicated Developers to develop an iOS app through a direct chat on their website. It was very easy to set up an appointment and I was able to meet with a project strategist in-person the next day. It was very refreshing to be able to talk to someone live and hash out all of my ideas. I was delighted to see their openness compared to others in the software industry - most companies hide behind emails and Skype calls, but not Dedicated Developers. When I contacted other software companies, they just sent me a general scope of work without fully understanding my long-term vision and short-term goals. I was immediately put to ease with an in-person meeting with the project strategist at Dedicated Developers. After the in-person meeting, we had two more productive phone calls and they provided me with lots of ideas to improve my app. Ultimately, we aligned on a detailed scope of work. Once the scope of work was aligned the team went to work, they kept me informed about the progress and the project was finished in a timely manner and within the agreed upon budget. I highly recommend working with the Dedicated Developers team!
