We paid well over 3000.00 for a headache and new website that is looking subpar. My older website looked better which I was told was outdated when they were sales pitching me. Minus a month of waiting on me to gather product pictures its taken almost 5 months and still no site. We have been told 3 times that the site would be done by a certain date only to have them ask me for the same files and pics I have sent up to five times. Its almost like they are stalling. I created a form with all our products, descriptions, ingredients, weights, if they were for male or female which took quite some time. They have misnamed some of the products. Masculine products are listed under Women and vise versa. Did I say most of them have no images! They keep asking me to go on the site and tell them what's missing. Are you kidding me?!! Look at the d%$# form!! What the hell did we pay you for? We feel taken advantage of and shafted and we don't even like the look of the site. We are settling just to get the thing up because we are now loosing business. Oh and for some reason they send you a link to pay for their services. I want to just be done with them and nix the whole effort but am scared we won't get our money back. We can not recommend Downtown Design Services.June 18, 2021

Pros:

  • I love my product outcome! We get compliments weekly on the design and Christy couldn't be more pleasant to work with.

  • Downtown Design developed our web page and did an outstanding job. They were great to work with throughout the entire experience. When you need something added or changed they are also very quick at accomplishing this and making sure you are taken care of!

  • Christy is clear and concise in her answers to my many questions, and can usually figure out what I messed up.

  • Christy can usually figure out our trickiest issues with our website - especially our store.

Cons:

  • This is telling me I have to have a 50 character minimum. I wanted to put: Umm..... Nada.

  • They did a very thorough and outstanding job. There is nothing that i did not like.

  • They moved to a location a little bit farther away from me!

  • Sometimes it takes longer for her to get to our stuff.

Overall Experience: Don't believe these fake five star reviews from first time post's. Some of these might be real but I bet 1/3 of them are fake. I hired "Downtown Design" to build me a new website for my business. Our agreement was for me to make payments over the course of a year to make it work with my budget. After making two payments of $665. in the summer of 2019 and I had called and left voicemails and emails wondering when we would start the design process. After not getting any return calls or emails over a couple weeks I told her I wanted my money back, then her DESIGN SUBCONTRACTOR finally reaches out to set up an initial appointment, NO THANK YOU! I want my money back! I have left her dozens of text messages, voicemails, and emails all with no return response, nothing. I had a bad feeling when I meet her and I should have trusted my instincts. DON'T USE DOWNTOWN DESIGN FOR YOUR WEBSITE. It has been a year with no returns to my emails, voicemails, and texts. Please return my money : (

Pros:
I loved working with Downtown Design. They listened to what I wanted and envisioned for my website update. They were spot on with matching the image and feel of my business whether you were walking into the doors of my business or looking at my website. They really married the two together and that's real talent! I would definitely recommend them!
