I feel morally obligated to write a bad review, because I had a bad experience with WFN and originally I couldn't find any bad review when I was first researching this agency before hiring them, so it was a no brainer. Initially WFN was hired to run a deep site audit before initiating long-term work, from the first contact to the end of the business relationship with WFN took around 1 month. In that month, a lot of time was wasted answering questions that showed lack of development knowledge from the manager (yellow flag), but I thought, not big deal, let's keep going. However, when they delivered their "deep site audit", it looked like it was written by a 12 year old with lots of mistakes, and issues about the sites that weren't real issues. Aftermath, the money was wasted, not a single development task got accomplished after 30 days. After that, I went to Upwork right away, hired 2 developer for HALF the price of WFN hourly rate, and the guys got almost all the tasks done in less than the time these guys wrote that low quality report. In other words, I don't recommend this agency. BTW. WFN if your are reading this. This is Leonard S. and the two developers I hired from Upwork didn't have ANY problem connecting the GIT to WPengine and deploying the sites locally, so you guys should probably consider hiring better developers. Pros:

  • Besides the great overall service, we appreciated the level of detail that went into the design.

  • They understood how to take a complex process and simplified it to fit our needs. The team was also available to share full details and discuss feedback for what our firm wanted.

  • Marcell and Nick are both experts and we felt that from the beginning. Extremely thorough and organized. I enjoyed the productivity of every meeting, the deadlines met without a single hiccup. The amount of creativity demonstrated when it was appropriate was extremely high value.

  • I received a well designed portfolio site and I’m able to showcase my services to potential clients. Wanted for Nothing has the social proof that they’re the top design agency in Los Angeles. They worked with me as a strategic partner and added tremendous value to my business.

Cons:

  • None that I can think of, everything was great!

  • Nothing. I recommend Wanted for Nothing as a stellar design agency I trust and will absolutely recommend them to my colleagues.

  • I enjoyed the entire experience working with Marcell and his team, so I really cannot think of any deficiency at the moment.

  • I don't have anything to put in this text box but need to meet a 50 character minimum so I guess I'll use this space to say that Nick is a freaking rockstar designer. He eats this work for breakfast. Great personality to work with. I'm looking forward to working with these guys as the project continues to evolve.

Overall Experience: Marcell and his team are simply fantastic. I've been looking for a solid team of developers that are truly experts in what they do. These guys pay attention to every little detail and make you aware of other features and/or alternatives to make the end product better. Their estimates on how much time it would take were spot on and cause any additional fees. If you've been burned in the past by bad web developers who don't know what they're doing, Wanted For Nothing is who you've been looking for.
