Cons:

  • We have no complaints about our experience. In addition to launching our website, CSTMR is providing our team with ongoing website and SEO support. We look forward to this continued partnership!

  • That they aren't in Boston! (while they are built for remote working arrangements, a local presence is always ideal)

  • Thus far there hasn't been any issues that have not been resolved.

  • Nothing comes to mind for this item. While we would love the opportunity to be in the room with our CSTMR team more often, we also appreciate that this type of digital work lends itself to a remote team and this allows them to have the best people for the necessary functions. We very much enjoy our Zoom calls and use of Basecamp to stay in touch, as well.

From the first time we met Rory and Jack, we felt like they would be true partners with our organization, and that has been true every step of the way. Overall Experience: I've worked with several different agencies in the past and CSTMR is by far my favorite. Jack and team not only possess great industry knowledge and insights, but also take the time to carefully listen and fully understand our business needs and goals in order to deliver quality solutions and recommendations time and time again. They are forward thinking and take a very customer centric approach which has helped us scale and optimize our digital properties across multiple channels. Our team has has had a great experience overall and I would give CSTMR my highest recommendation to other companies seeking to grow their brands in the digital space.

Overall Experience: We were looking for a marketing company that was innovative and could develop a marketing strategy for us. CSTMR is great to work with and have helped us implement a new website, create an ongoing customer communication strategy, design marketing and promotional material to keep our look and feel consistent, and maximizing our website to enhance our SEO to keep us top of mind. Weekly video chats keep us on track and moving forward. I would recommend them if you are looking for a very innovative marketing company and don't want to be like everyone else.

They were extremely nimble and accommodating when our project needs changed and were quick to implement said changes. Overall Experience: I initially interviewed over 10 web development firms. What drew me to CSTMR is that they spent over two hours asking tough questions to fully gain understanding of my project, which led to a detailed proposal. This gave me confidence that CSTMR would complete the work within budget. Once we started, it was clear I made the right choice. CSTMR has a professional process that ensures timely and effective results. I primarily worked with Jack, one of the founders. Jack has strong technical chops but also a high business acumen. His business aptitude separates him from other developers because he was able to understand my vision and challenge my assumptions. This synergy led to better results. Even if I had all the technical ability in the world, I don't think I could have produced a better result on my own. Jack felt like a partner, not a hired contractor. I got the sense (and still do) that he truly cares about the success of my business. I hope to work with him again.

The team was responsive and available to handle any request we had. They quickly addressed any concerns that arose during our project, and effectively guided us through the processes of developing our website and messaging.
Cons:
Some miscommunication early on led to some missed expectations in the middle of the engagement, but they quickly responded and resolved my concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Their team also does not bog projects down with long processes and they were able to plug into some existing work our internal team did.
