We had just gone through a different, but similar project the year prior with a different vendor which really helped emphasize what an amazing job Ice Nine Online did in comparison. Effective project management is one of their key strengths. Unlike our previous vendor, they listened to our needs and took our priorities into consideration when designing the platform. They worked alongside us and gave honest input if they thought our requests would delay the project or lower the overall quality. Their expertise helped steer us in the right direction. Pros:

  • They were able to seamlessly execute our priorities and we never have to follow up or repeat ourselves. Working with a firm that was able to operate independently made our lives a lot easier. They were also able to recommend the best technology and features to meet our needs. Very modern features beyond what we originally envisioned that added another level of value to our project.

  • Process, professionalism, trustworthiness, these are traits that Matt and his team at Ice Nine Online have always shown. I know that any time I refer a client or friend to Matt for marketing or web development they will be well taken care of and the quality of the product and/or service will be top notch.

  • Matt is extremely buttoned-up and makes it his mission to stay current with today's digital trends. I feel we always learn something new from him. He never misses a deadline and does a terrific job of managing expectations.

  • Matt and Ice Nine Online developed a website that lined up with our business's goals and brand identity. Best of all, the website's first month's performance has already generated a positive ROI.

Cons:

  • They were at the top end of our budget, but more than proved the long-term savings they brought, teaching us not to make a decision based on money alone. Ice Nine presented the highest quote of the firms we considered, but the time saved by having a proper company manage the project ended up saving us money in the long run.

  • There is not one thing that I can speak to that I did not like. Everything he does for us is done well. Maybe the color of his socks :)

  • I can't think of something that I like the least about Ice Nine so much as I would like to make a recommendation to them. Higher someone to run the day to day and let Matt be the dynamic face of the business. I realize that there are few people that could run the organization with the same depth but Matt has so much to offer and I think we would all benefit from having more access to him. Content, videos, classes, speaking engagements. I know that I would be in the front row as much as humanly possible.

  • We provided aggressive timelines, so some parts of the process would have ideally lasted longer, but that was more a function of our demands rather than Ice Nine's responsibility. They listened and made it happen!

Overall Experience: In my experience marketing companies are not always what they say they are and often times they concentrate solely on the bottom line. In my experience with Ice Nine Online that is not the case. They are interested in education and taking the time to create meaningful content, share insights as well as some of the "magic sauce". Marketing and design isn't just about what you know but also about being adaptive, agile. In my opinion Matt and Ice Nine have made that there practice. Rare find.

Pros:
We partnered with Ice Nine Online to run our Google Adwords account. We needed to build brand awareness in our local markets and Matt successfully helped us launch local AdWords campaigns that resulted in an increase traffic to our retail partner sites.
Cons:
There is not anything that I could say I liked the least about working with Ice Nine Online. Matt was always professional and great with follow up. He's hands on and was able to communicate the world of digital marketing in a way that make it understandable to even the lay person.

Overall Experience: We needed to grow our online presence and Ice Nine Online was hired to build our local AdWords campaigns for all the marketing promotions. Matt did a great job in showing us how to best optimize our ads to increase conversions and provided constructive feedback on our web design and how to optimize it for the best conversions. We were overall very happy with the services Ice Nine Online provided and the increased traffic to our retail partner sites for North America. We highly recommend their services!

Pros:
My experience with Ice Nine Online left me feeling EMPOWERED, and it's all thanks to Matt Chiera and his expert knowledge. Matt's style of teaching made it easy for me to follow along and understand the training materials well enough to be able to apply the knowledge I gained, which made a significant difference in my Google ranking. Taking his training session was well worth every penny I spent.
Cons:
I didn't like the feeling of being so overwhelmed with all that knowledge I learned in such a short span of time, which actually is a reflection of how much information Matt packs into a short training session. It turned out being a good thing in the long run!

Overall Experience: I had taken his 2-1/2 hour SEO optimization training session, and when I came away from training that day with him, my mind was spinning like a top. I felt somewhat drained, and thinking I'll never get the hang of this information, and was it even worthwhile taking the training session with him. I didn't dive into optimizing my site right away, because I had other pressing matters to attend to; but after a week, I was ready to dig into researching and educating myself even further using his materials as a guide before I went head on applying changes to my site. I was able to boost my site's ranking, as a result of two things: the basic training I received from Matt along with the additional information and tools he shared that was so integral in my continued learning, and exactly that...my continued learning.

Pros:
Consultative service that listened to what we wanted in a new website and rapid response when our website was hacked and we needed to have our website restored from a past backup.
Cons:
No issues at all. I regret that we didn't have Ice Nine do our ongoing website mgmt. after they built it. We had our website hacked and they were able to restore our site to full working order using backups. We were up and running in 24 hours.

Overall Experience: They are a great company to work with. They built a great site for us and helped us in an emergency when our site was hacked. Engaging them for ongoing support and web site mgmt. is an invaluable service that they provide and I wish we would used them for that from day 1. None the less they were able to fix our issues quickly when we were hacked and restore our site to service.

Overall Experience: IceNine handled our website rebuild and online advertising campaigns. The team handled both the design and development of the website and delivered a fantastic final product. The maintenance of the website and the the online advertising work was exceptional and high-quality. Their consistent focus on clear communication, delivery of milestones on time, check-ins, and the iterative process with the website as well as the lead generation made the engagement so smooth. Highly recommended!

Pros:
I had the great pleasure of working with Matt Chiera on my website to increase lead flow and traffic. In addition to being very transparent and easy to work with, the man knows his stuff! I highly recommend him to anyone I speak with about improving their website.
Cons:
Due to budgetary issues on my part, we did not allow Matt to redesign our website for us. This made his job that much more challenging, as our site at the time was weak and had few calls-to-action.

All deliverables were on time, on budget & the end result is an excellent site that is info rich & user friendly, while capturing all needed data.
