Sayenko Design did a superb job on my personal triathlon and coaching website. I was honestly blown away by how great the graphics, aesthetics, overall look/feel and usability of the website turned out. Pros:

Mike did some SEO work on my site which has resulted in my triathlon coaching services turning into a profitable business that I can run from anywhere in the world. Yes, my site looks and feels very professional, but it also gets results. Mike (owner of Sayenko Design) was also super patient with me and gave me a ton of good advice along the way in crafting my content and figuring out how best to construct the site.
Mike and his staff were very professional and extremely knowledgeable!! They set "The Standard for Excellence" in their field!
Sayenko understood our aesthetic and was able to accurately reflect our brand in the new website.
Of our brand’s 13 associated websites, the site by Sayenko Design has earned the most compliments from internal and external visitors, contributing to a 7x increase in traffic. The project team’s dual UX and technical skill set ensured an attractive, modern final product.

Cons:

At first I thought Sayenko Design's hosting service was too expensive, so I took it off his servers (at WP Engine) and started using my own, budget host (Bluehost). I honestly didn't understand how much work it takes to keep a Wordpress site maintained. Eventually my site got hacked because I didn't know what I was doing, then it took me an entire day just to get it back online. Honestly, if you're getting your site built, leave it in the hands of someone that knows that they are doing, even if it costs a bit more.
Nothing! There was nothing to not like about their company. The provided exactly what they advertised!

Overall Experience: Mike and the team at Sayenko Design exceeded my expectations in every area. I went to them to rebuild my company website as the previous site lacked clear messaging. There were certain things I wanted on the site, and they accommodated that. There was never a point when I felt like something was a no-go. What impressed me the most was their approach to designing the new site. They did much more than just design webpages. They started by focusing on my customer base and then development a messaging and content strategy that was tailored to my customers. Once we had that locked down, the design was easy! And they provided great recommendations and insight along the way to steer me in the right direction when needed. The final site was awesome! Great design with clear messaging. Overall Experience: It has been three years since Sayenko Design took the new Washington Rock Quarries website live. In the first year alone, we had over 17,000 sessions and 340 quote request submissions. Originally the website existed just because. Now the website has become a central component of our digital advertising strategy. It's an important source of customer referrals. I often reach out to Mike and the team at Sayenko Design to make changes to the website when needed. They are quick to respond and provide quotes as needed. They complete work in a timely fashion. The one thing I don't like is being charged project management fees (which includes being charged hourly to correspond via email).

Overall Experience: We had a very tight budget. I would have liked to have had another $4,000 or $5,000 to do the work, but they took the project, even though it was small; they gave it their full attention and built a solid website for us that had a good visual design, which was more than I was expecting. Sayenko did great from a project management standpoint. We always knew where they were and what they were doing. They let us know when they needed our input. We mostly used email to communicate but they were always available for a phone call. Their use of a prototyping tool to share designs with us and allow us to make comments was extremely helpful as well.

Overall Experience: Mike is always forthright and honest, and it's great to be able to work with someone of that nature. His integrity in that capacity and his openness with how he spends his time is always very much appreciated. Much of what we do is very much a matter of trust. From a billing perspective, if someone says a project took them six hours to do, there's no way to prove it, so it's great that things get done in a timely and consistent fashion with Mike.
