Black Flag carried us from concept to production on a very complex website with multiple interest holders. Designing a website for the California Department of Education means that we serve a varied user base and must adhere to the highest accessibility standards. Black Flag took input from internal teams, educators, and other interested parties that would be accessing and using the site. They adapted their designs to meet the needs of various types of users, coming up with not only attractive design elements, but created code that added automation to eliminate some of the manual updates. Black Flag provided us with a high-quality product and were so much fun to work with along the way. Pros:

  • Black Flag has great talent with the extensive technical knowledge in web development and web design

  • Although we had some rough ideas on what we wanted in a website, we didn't necessarily know exactly what we wanted from an aesthetic standpoint. Black Flag's expertise was instrumental in providing several design alternatives for us to review, and then integrating our feedback into future design concepts. They were very patient with us throughout the process, and it was obvious they weren't satisfied until we were.

  • A responsive team, creative solutions, and willingness to meet deadlines or provide quick emergency response service when needed.

  • Their ability to come up with solutions on-the-fly and quickly address challenges.

Cons:

  • There wasn't anything I didn't like about the company

  • I'm not sure if I have anything negative to comment on. We had a very pleasant experience, we are very satisfied with our new website. I am confident that Black Flag would not disappoint if given the opportunity.

  • Had several rounds of revisions on our company brand guide, but in the end, Corey & his team worked to make sure we were happy.

  • My only con is that I wish I had funding to continue more work with Black Flag. Once I understood what they can do, there are so many other things that I would love to have them improve.

Overall Experience: Black Flag Creative made my new website process so easy, stress-free, and interactive for me! I especially enjoyed the checklists provided where I could see what tasks were doing done and when. Communication is always on point, and everything was explained to me clearly and easy for my team to understand. I truly feel my online store has been elevated with a sense of luxury and high end work. My clients have complimented me endlessly since the launch. If you are looking for professionals then look no further. Corey and his team were the perfect fit to bring my visions to life, and exceed 10x more than what I expected. A+ would recommend. Black Flag is the polar OPPOSITE of boring, drab, and outdated.

Overall Experience: Working with Black Flag has been a great enriching experience. While we had functional product concepts figured out, the experience to our end customers is very key to us. They showed great desire to listen to our needs, goals and priorities and then developed a website structure to fulfill those requirements. Overall Experience: During our search for a new website designer, we came across Black Flag Creative. We immediately knew they were the one as their work was clean, simple and easy to maneuver. The initial planning meeting was extremely helpful, and they covered all bases including a schedule with milestones, industry standards we should consider and their vision for our site based on industry research they performed. Throughout the process they have been flexible and met every timeline.
