The following was my experience with Eileen Guber “Guber & Company, CPA” 1. Took over 6 weeks to do our taxes (numerous mistakes), after promising they would be finished within a week. Eileen didn’t return any phone calls. COVID-19 is not transmitted via telephone. 2. Entered incorrect figures for the local tax debt, which I had to recalculate. 3. Asked for additional money to fix HER OWN mistakes, on multiple occasions. 4. Inaccurately calculated the local tax debt for 2015 and 2016, resulting in us owing additional money in penalties 5. Incorrectly wrote that we owe department of revenue for the year 2017, which we didn’t 6. Back charged us for a task we never agreed to, which was done incorrectly 7. After receiving a tax bill for the amount Eileen miscalculated, plus the late penalty, Eileen said this was “None of this is her concern.” 8. Refused to speak to us afterword’s June 12, 2020

Overall Experience: Eileen Guber incorrectly calculated my Husband's City of Philadelphia tax debt resulting in us owing the city additional money in penalties as a result of her mistake. When we called Eileen Guber to ask how we should proceed, she responded: “This doesn’t concern me, call another CPA or a lawyer”, before hanging up. She does not stand behind her work. Eileen Guber should not have a CPA license.
