The design team was phenomenal at coming up with designs we fell in love with, open to our feedback as non-experts, and matched our brand vision perfectly. From a WordPress development standpoint, the website they built was lightening-fast, Google and Bing-friendly, and invoked all the best practices for security, accessibility, privacy, and mobile-friendliness. Pros:

  • We liked that when we suggested things they frequently came back with better ideas.

  • Glide took the time to clearly understand our business, products and objectives during our initial search for a web firm and at though out the project. This was incredibly important for our complex business and they delivered a well thought out, functional and high-performing website in a way that I don't believe any other firm could have.

  • Not only is their design and development amazing, but the entire team was so incredibly pleasant and easy to work with.

  • Glide has provided an amazing product and outstanding service for our nonprofit organization. They listened and created beyond what we could have imagined. We appreciate their guidance, insight, creativity, and patience. We are thankful for their ability to work within our budget. Wonderful experience!

Cons:

  • There was nothing in this working relationship we didn't like

  • There were very few issues throughout the process and if anything arose they addressed it quickly. Overall the team was easy to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure we walked away satisfied with the work we hired them to do.

  • The ticket interface for the final stage of development was not very user-friendly.

  • There is nothing we didn't like. We only wish we would have used them earlier. Change is always tricky in an established organization, and they delicately guided us through the process.

From our initial call with Travis, founder of Glide, through our kick-off call, meet the team, weekly status calls until they turned our website over to us, everyone we worked with an expert in their field. Top notch professionalism, listen as we walked through design and vision, and delivered an amazing website and ON TIME! Special kudos to Jessica McDaniel, our PM throughout the project. She was patient with all of the requests I made, listen to any concerns and as I mentioned, delivered an amazing website. If you are in need any tech services Glide provides, do yourself a favor, hire them and stop searching. They are the partner you want for whatever your project needs may be.

Overall Experience: I hired GLIDE for a content audit and website redesign for RetailMeNot's blog, The Real Deal. Travis, Jessica, Drew and team were amazing to work with from start to finish. This was a big project for us, and they instilled great confidence, creativity, support and commitment along the way to ensure our vision and goals were met—and then some. We were able to complete this endeavor much faster than if we'd stuck in-house while still getting a beautiful, strong website that other areas of our site now borrow inspiration from. A big callout I want to highlight is that this wasn't just a frontend redesign; GLIDE also optimized our CMS for us, giving us more agility and freedom along the way. They provided beyond-expectations support after we launched the new site, correcting any bugs and ensuring our happiness with the final product. In fact, we were so impressed we've now continued tapping into GLIDE for web maintenance long-term. To wrap this up, I want to emphasize that GLIDE is not only creative and technically capable, but they also really took the time to understand our business goals with this design and followed through 120%. Overall Experience: Working with Glide was a great experience for our organization and one we highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, individualized, professional, developed and functional web design. Glide's communication and working relationship were two of the qualities that stood out most for us, and that comes with their quality service and expansive knowledge with their design and work. Starting from the top through our initial meetings with founder and CEO Travis to set the course for the project, to our work with Brooke, Drew, Jessica, Ajia, Joel, Andy, and more, we experienced nothing but professional service, personalized and well-researched design/layout/user experience development, fantastic communication with all levels of staff, incredible support and more. Most of all, their project managers are quality, and our project lead Paola was fantastic at juggling the multitude of challenges our site produced, and helped us not only work through that, but really moved the site along to what we have today through attentive service, communication, and desire to build a great working relationship with our organization. In my professional career, I have had the opportunity to work with many different partners who are providing a service to their clients and brands. GLIDE has been an outstanding partner to work with and among the best of the best. Our collaboration is truly a partnership in that we are both working toward the best possible outcome for the brand and their client's experience. Travis and his team are professional and relational, meaning, our interactions are as friendly as they are about moving a project forward. He leads his organization with an even hand which encourages his team to do their best work for each client. His support team that is responsible for engaging with my support team is always professional. Their communication with our support team is effective so that together we can find a resolution to any situation that arises. I have the highest level of trust in GLIDE so much so that I have referred some of our largest and most valuable customers to them to provide creative services for brand sites and campaigns. Overall Experience: We asked GLIDE to do a large redesign in a small amount of time and a challenging budget. We added scope along the way, including complicated integrations requiring custom work, a few at the very last minute. We gave them problems to solve that we hadn't accounted for at the beginning of the project. In other words, a typical web site redesign project. This is where GLIDE stood apart from others. They never flinched. Their designers and developers simply found good creative solutions, the kind that saved us time and money, and got us to the finish line on time and on budget. Front-end, back-end, they have the talent to do beautiful work and they launched our site without a hitch. Travis leads them well and leads by example. We'll continue to use them for future projects.
