I got another one of those “we are marketing experts” messages on LinkedIn asking me to sit in on a call. As always I don’t listen to sales pitches on the phone or video unless they can’t prove why they are worth my time. Well this lady had Rob Harrison reach out to me. He sent me a video on where I was lacking in SEO, what keywords I wasn’t ranking good at, what company was at the top, and a plan to get #1. He then proceeded to tell me where I’m at his services would be too expensive and wouldn’t be a good starting point. I was so impressed by the way he handled things I gave him a call to tell him that was the first time a company impressed me like that when they knew they would get money from me. He proceeded to explain the video and gave me more advice moving forward. If this is how they handle customers that don’t pay them, I can only imagine how things are handled when you become a customer. You all set the bar really high. GOOD JOB!March 31, 2023

Pros:

  • They are local and you can feel that. It makes a difference when they are working on keywords etc.

  • Yes, I'm a little biased, but here is what I've seen Bear Fox Marketing do for a business where I was VP of Marketing for 6 years. Bear Fox Marketing started doing SEO and took monthly organic site traffic from 5000 sessions to 25,000 sessions in a span of 7 months. At that time, the ROI of the campaign became very impressive, generating over $280K of new monthly sales. The Google advertising campaigns performed well also. Within a short period of time, Bear Fox cut the cost of each new customer acquisition in half compared to the last agency and more than doubled the cart size. In other words, they generate twice the sales with half the budget.

Cons:

  • ROI did not happen as fast as I would have liked or thought it should.

  • I wish I would have used them sooner. I had spent about 4 years trying different strategies when it came to SEO with a couple different firms. Wasted a lot of money in that time, so yeah, it would have been good to start sooner and focus on a strategy that generated better results.

Overall Experience: I had a consultation today with Rob at Bear Fox Marketing and he was very kind and helpful! He asked a lot of questions to understand the history of my business, where it's at and where I want to be with it. He assessed my businesses needs and what I'm currently able to afford. With that being said he was honest with me and is connecting me with a freelance marketing agent that will work with me to get me up to the point where I can transition my company to work with Bear Fox Marketing. Overall Experience: After having to reschedule numerous times, Bear Fox was more than understanding and I never got the impression they were annoyed with me. Once I finally had an introductory call, it turned out my budget as a bootstrap was pretty small. However, they happily recommended me to someone they knew and didn’t press to sell me into something I couldn’t afford yet. Can’t wait to work with them in the future!
