Gumas was hired by Varian to help with the brand refresh for the Brachytherapy Business Unit. Starting with market research, Gumas was able to identify our deficits and opportunities with our customers. John, Janeah and Craig developed our brand strategy, tag line, logos and content development. In our first year after launch, we saw a 24% increase in sales (5 prior years had been flat). In addition to re-energizing the Varian business, it has also helped to re-energize the brachytherapy treatment modalities. We saw our competitors emulate our content / brand elements. We also had business partners who like the tagline so well that they wanted to use it in their marketing. Overall, working with Gumas is a delight and enables us to be leaders in the marketplace.
