Is the Certified Business Intelligence Professional accreditation put out by TDWI worth the money? Short answer: no. Long answer: you don't need the CBIP in the sense that you need a certification to practice law, or even in the sense that you need a college degree to be considered for a lot of jobs. You can get a job in business intelligence or business analytics without it.
