CKO (Chief Knowledge Officer)

The chief knowledge officer (CKO) is a corporate title for the executive responsible for overseeing an organization's knowledge management (KM). The CKO articulates the KM vision of the business, ensuring effective use of knowledge resources, including knowledge creation, sharing, and application. The CKO position is related to but broader than chief information officer (CIO) or chief technology officer (CTO). A CKO is commonly found in knowledge-related businesses such as research and management consulting.
