Pros: I love the customer service I get with CVENT. No matter the time of day the customer service team is able to help me solve my problems and I know that they genuinely care about my concerns or worries. My audience has provided great feedback about CVENT's easy to use mobile app. I appreciate the simple steps it takes to create the mobile app on the back end to make it look appealing to the user on the front end.

Cons: The only con for this software is that you don't get a uniquely branded url for your audience to use. The cvent name is still within the url.

Overall: Having the agenda at your finger tips, being able to network with other audience members and the ability to have a constant social conversation are all the benefits we get from the mobile app.

Pros: Its helped save lots of hours I would normally spend on organising events. The tools that this application have are great, from duplicating events (so you dont have to redo the paperwork) to templates for websites to help promote your event. Its very good.

Cons: Like with all new applications, the initial set up and getting to know the system can be time consuming. But once you get to know it its a very easy application to use.

Overall: All in one place, great event management tools, great for multiple people to work on the same event software.

Pros: The software is very intuitive and if I can't figure it out their customer support team is amazing - both on the phone, via chat, and email.

Cons: Using HTML to customize the look/feel of my websites. The new release is going to solve this for me. I saw a demo and will be an early adopter.

Pros: Customer support may be my favorite aspect of using Cvent, because they often offer workarounds if there is no simple solution.

Cons: Navigation is often tedious, and functionality can be low. Often what seems like a simple problem and a little change requires a talk with customer support.

Pros: Keeping track of registration and attendees. Sending out RPF's to various hotels and the look and feel of the registration/email.

Cons: The ease of uploading contacts through salesforce has given me some issues in the past. It seems like it would be much easier.

Pros: I like that it's relatively easy to create the surveys, and also the fact that you can analyze results by question or export results as a whole. I also like the graph representations.

Cons: I think that the results could looks a little more modern. I'm not sure that the format/design of the results and graphs are something that happens on our end or is the way the software generates them, but I think they could be a little more crisp/sharp/modern.

Overall: I am able to analyze overall trends in employee engagement in different areas at my company which allows me to come up with action items that can improve my team's overall experience at our organization.

Pros: I like that I can easily manage the registrants, see all of their important information and run reports.

Cons: I don't like how complex the back in is when you are trying to change something later on. I wish it was more like Wix or similar software where you can see exactly what you are changing in real time.

Overall: A centralized database of information, easy tracking of registration, payments, and specific contact information; waitlists.

Pros: I like the ability to print name badges on site. Also the updated website building module in Abstract Management made our submission process a lot easier and more fun. CrowdCompass is a great app. I am looking forward to the FLEX update.

Cons: Abstract Management still doesn't have the ability to push through sessions to Event Management. The website building capabilities in Event Management are not great - they look like 90s templates. I know that Cvent is changing this to be more like Abstract with FLEX. CrowdCompass' map does not have the ability to give a user directions to where they need to go. Event-In-A-Box, while great for probably most use cases, included materials we did not need.

Overall: The ability to print name badges on site and have the app interact directly with the website, pushing information live to both.

Pros: Robustness of the product is it's real strength. The customizability is unprecentented in an end user software.

Cons: Exhibitor management offerings are lacking in my opinion. I would like to be able to register booths as booths... not as attendees.

This has been great to use for both our large and small event registrations.

Pros: Easy to give access to reports to coworkers with them having to learn the software. Also, it's great how we can ask for any information from our registrants.

Cons: The reports don't calculate total registrants (or I don't know how) and don't offer a way to filter results.

Overall: Lots of information about our registrants. Up to date reports. Flexibility with making registrations.

Pros: Great experience for those who are registering; easy to follow registration process and connection with CrowdCompass.

Cons: Not intuitive for set up. Inconsistent processes for set up. Language barriers with tech support. Data flow with CrowdCompass is not all inclusive.

Overall: No benefits.

Comments: Companies with this level of support (e.g. cvent and facebook) should not be in business.

Pros: sounds like it should be good. They talk a good game, but it is a lie for them to say "Help is just a click away"

Cons: Doesn't allow me to register for an event. Error codes for several days now. Went to support where it says "Help is just a click away", 10 minutes and 30 clicks later in their maze to avoid interaction and I finally called only to be put on hold for many minutes. I hung up.

Pros: We've used CVent to manage our multiple 1K plus attendee events for many years. They continually develop new features and products that allow us to scale.

Cons: It is not a cheap product and it's integration with Salesforce is not as seamless as our organization needs.

Pros: CVENT has many bells and whistles and is an amazing piece of software. The events you can set up can be complex and your customers can have a great experience.

Cons: The software can almost be too complicated when you want to put on a simple event. We use it here at Long & Foster for classes and many classes don't need to be presented as complicated events. Sometimes creating simplistic classes takes just as much time as the more complex company events.

Pros: The amount of detail you can capture from people is wonderful. The reports you can pull are very helpful too

Cons: It's not the most straight forward. You need to do about 3 steps to do 1 thing. Very conveluded! And the table assignments are a nightmare since you can't set by session.

They cannot get tracking to work... they have no support team knowledge and mis sold it in the first place!

Pros: This is only for a 3 month campaign... after that I am rid of them I will never need to speak to them again... ever.

Cons: the tracking doesn't work... don't believe them Mis selling - anything to close the deal Client success abandoned us before they had ironed out any details. Support doesn't return calls Account manager doesn't return calls Its clunky oh.... and the tracking doesn't work... don't believe them

Pros: Time saving, option to copy previous events, communications tags, express ticketing, invoicing, reports details.

Cons: It has few things to improve on flexibility. I believe it will improve with Flex. One thing I already gave feedback on is the option to register more than 1 delegate using express ticketing. When you register more than one delegate, the system automatically tag the second and third delegate as a guest, I find this tag confusing as we could give delegates the option to bring guests (Accompanying partners), but the system does not let us change the name of this tag.

Pros: I like the fact that this software can be used on any electronic device, we have all of our information on one platform which we control.

Cons: I have used this software for 2 events and am in the process of creating another as well as learning features I wasn't aware we have. At this point I haven't met any discouraging challenges.

Pros: All the bells and whistles were included, which at times made it difficult to focus on the most important metrics.

Cons: The price tag was significant given our needs, was not worth the investment in our situation. Probably not the product's fault.

Pros: ease to use/ customer support. I also enjoy having an account manager assigned to our company. She is my go-to person for everything and if she doesnt know the answer, she will find out who does and get back to me.

Cons: back end is a bit hard to navigate, have to go thru many screens to get to where you need to be at times.

Overall: Best way to organize an event and get the registration going.

Pros: It is easy to navigate, I don't have to go layers deep to make updates or find something.
I like that I am able to make changes to specific language for each path.

Cons: I wish there was an easy way to see the visbility of each website page, without having to click on the specific page.

Overall: It's easy to use and works well for our business.

Pros: we can plan badge printing and distribution through them, we can build the app with them, and even travel and accommodation details.

Cons: not very easy to use, very standard type of platform, basic and not so creatively made unfortunately

Pros: It has an ability to house event invitations and registration information from start to finish, making it easy to use. We also have the ability to send out RFPs for events that can nicely compile all the information you need when your are sourcing events. Their customer support team is amazing, and has useful tips and tricks when you are trying to finagle around events.

Cons: It is VERY slow sometimes - waiting for things to update makes you feel uneasy and yet you cannot refresh the page.

Great software, but actually a little more than we needed for smaller events. Still LOVE the options just more than we need for smaller functions.

Pros: Some of the pros with using Cvent are its multi-functionality, ease of use, and the choice of express or standard registration. Being able to find answers in the Cvent community or put in a ticket without much effort helps accelerate customer service.

Cons: One of the cons would be that I didn't have control over our plan until recently and some things are not included that would be helpful going forward. Looking forward to plan renewal so that we can revisit our needs.

Pros: Great software for detailed info about your venue , this helps event planner to know more about you company before request a proposal. The proposal format is very easy to use.

Cons: So many steps and features, it may be confusing at first. You have to practice several times to get familiar with this software.

Pros: It's easy to set up events and customer support is very responsive (although I do wish the online documentation was a little more complete).

Cons: It's difficult to customize the design or URLs of your event website/registration pages, which makes for a less than optimal experience for users and for tracking. There are a lot of reporting options, though I do wish I could get more granular - for example, I'm unable to see the last field a potential registrant filled in on a form.

Pros: The bulk of our events were standardized repeating training sessions. Cvent allowed us to set these up in a way that we could easily create a new event based off a previous event. This was a very quick process and drastically cut down on the time spent on these tasks

Cons: With Cvent being such a robust piece of software, there is a bit of a learning curve to it. While the company I was working with did not purchase any training, we did have a dedicated contact at Cvent to help us with issues. It would have been nice if there were some tutorials available to us.

Pros: Create and manage your registration site and have control over registrant information,. Print name badges, manager hotel and concurrent events. It integrates with Sales force. Alos has feature t mange billing. Good support. Good reporting options

Cons: Cost, it is expensive and you'll lily pay more than you're quoted . It is is also so robust that you can get lost trying to use all the features. Html coding for emails could be better.

Pros: I like that the new updates have made using the software highly intuitive and walks you through the process step by step. It's very simple to work and manage events now.

Cons: The cost can be prohibitive to smaller businesses so that is something to be mindful of but if you're running a lot of events, the price is worth it.

Pros: I like how everything for my event is located in one place, on one website. Cvent helps me manage events on a daily basis.

Cons: I think Cvent is doing a lot of work to make their software more user-friendly. I do not like that features available in Express Registration are not available in Standard Registration, but I think Cvent is currently working to fix that.

Pros: I really like being able to set search criteria for the venue sourcing and meeting management option .

Cons: I have no complaints to speak of but I do think using the mobile version of the website of could have a bit more intuative.

So far so good. There are a lot of steps when setting up an event registration.

Pros: I love that I can call customer service as many times as I need it. In the past 3 months, I called at least 10 times.

Cons: So many steps to set up registration. As a newbie, it's been a challenge to make sure to hit all the steps. It feels like there is at least 50 steps to take before I can even test it.

Pros: It's custom built by us, for us, to suit the needs of our organization. As we change, we can change the tools settings to better fit our needs

Pros: Cvent is a great platform if you have a wide range of events because it can handle the simplest meeting with ease or large scale, complex conferences.

Pros: all event needs in one place. hardware and software are fully integrated. a lot of little details about event management have been built in

Cons: needs UX overhaul. api needs to be rewritten. just more around the cms. needs to open up backend to integrate to other CMSs

Overall: all in one solution. we had a major crash during event that was caused by several vendors not cooperating with each other. we've eliminated several extra vendors and hope this year goes much more smoothly

Pros: I love Cvent's sense for details and what an Event Planner really needs while keeping track of trillion things while planning an event.

Cons: The price is only ok if you are only ok if you are a well-sized business. Their pricing is not for independent Event Planners, unfortunately.

Pros: Cvent has allowed our company to take our event management process from a manual, spreadsheet-driven one to one that is largely automated and seamless. Their products are truly built on customer feedback, and their customer service is stellar. This software is highly recommended.

Cons: The system could use an update to better accommodate roommate pairing and reporting to host hotels. Otherwise, the software has proven to suit our needs well.

Overall: Streamlined event management, supplier networking, event app software, and event surveys

Pros: The event management part of Cvent is top notch. Not much else comes close (and we have looked - see below). The supplier network is a feature that lets us produce, send, and manage RFPs for venues efficiently. We use the emarketing tool to do all of our communications to members.

Cons: The only con is membership management. Their solution means a lot of manual updating for us. Our organization is a non profit with institutions as our members. The Cvent membership management is geared more toward individuals being members (not institutions).

Overall: RFP management and event management

Pros: Cvent has great functionality. It registers and checks in event attendees, it is tech friendly with QR codes to register people. It manages the financial transactions, helps with seating charts and is very effective for really large events.

Cons: It is pretty expensive and the initial quote always ends up exceeding value. The customer service is not very reliable, i never get straight answers because it has to do with an added fee to reburse registrants or an added fee for analytic functionality.

I plan and build event registrations for a non-profit using Cvent.

Pros: Cvent has a lot of flexibility. So far I've seen that whatever you want to do...it can be done. This is a huge advantage to their platform. I have also noticed that security is a high priority for them, and they go to great lengths to protect the identities and card information for anyone who registers using their software.

Cons: I switched over from RegOnline after Cvent bought them out. While Cvent can do a lot, it seem that it's not a huge upgrade from RegOnline, yet now we are paying more money for the same service.

Another thing to note is RegOnline had a visual refresh in the last 2 years that was great! When I switched over to Cvent, it felt as if I was going back in time. Much of the header text, buttons and progress bars in the registration feel like they were recycled from the early 2000's. I hope Cvent invests some time to change the visuals of their software.

Pros: I like that it is simple to build event breakouts and easily track attendee count. The venue selection feature helps me efficiently research locations without manually sending emails to hotel sales managers.

Cons: Building the landing pages were a bit difficult. I would also really benefit if this platform integrated with Hubspot or any other Marketing Automation platform.

Pros: I really like all the tools and features. It's allowed us to create registration pages for our event in so many ways.

Cons: Since there are so many tools and features, it can be a bit daunting to learn it all. But the customer support team is always there to assist.

Overall: We are now able to have attendees check in to sessions. I really like the RFP tool also. There are just so many things we can do with Cvent that we could not do with RegOnline.

I used CVent when I was working for a non-profit and we were trying to put on our annual luncheon.

Pros: The product was obviously built to be able to be flexible for many different uses. We were trying to host a luncheon that involved registration for different levels of donors, who needed to have different registration forms. In addition, we needed a layout of tables, minimum number of people, etc. When we did run into issues or confusion the cvent team was always happy to jump on a call, and if they weren't sure of a solution they got back to us in a timely manner.

Cons: Due to the large number of flexible options, CVent was not something you could sit down and quickly understand. There were two people on my team tasked to fully understanding it's functionality and it took them several hours with a CVent personnel to have a good understanding. This made it difficult to make small changes for other members of the team. Instead they had to wait until one of the 'experts' were available. In addition, the sales team did lead us to believe that the software was much simpler than it was.

Cvent has changed event planning for our organization!

Pros: Cvent offers a robust array of features and products to help assist you in all areas of event planning. We use Cvent for small meetings to company holiday parties to our large conferences we host twice a year. If you're looking for a solution to your greatest pain point in planning, Cvent has it!

Cons: There are some limitations with the software. Cvent has done an excellent job at expanding their products but I would like to see more updates to the registration process.

Overall: Cvent makes my job easier every time they roll out new upgrades our products. I'm constantly looking forward to what's coming down the pipeline!

Pros: It super easy to submit a meeting rfp. I find the hotel sourcing tool to be very intuitive, efficient and overall all extremely easy to use. I once did it in the time it took my plane to finish boarding. I also like that while sourcing hotels, the system maps them for you. this is really helpful when you are trying to find hotels close to a particular place or another hotel. Like when sourcing overflow hotels.

Cons: I wish we could better manage room blocks. I find people that quickly accessing someone's travel/hotel reservation takes a lot of clicks. I also find it odd that they call it travel and not just hotel reservations or something hotel related. Anyways, it's also hard to quickly find out how many nights someone is staying or create a room list by room nights for determining food counts and particular meeting attendance.

Overall: Quite a bit. For one, I now feel a lot more comfortable using the tool. Before, we used Lanyon and I felt like I needed a PHD to navigate the toold. Now I'm comfortable with the tool and can quickly access what I need.

Pros: Seamless integration with Cvent, application is very user friendly for attendees and for myself on the back end. The application looks professional and easily customizable.

Cons: I'm not sure if this is still an issue, but you cannot see the push notifications unless the app is open.

Overall: The use of a phone app for our national conference. This cuts down on paper print outs and can be used for attendees and exhibitors. It allows attendees to communicate between each other and to learn more about a speaker from any of the sessions.

I've always had a great experience using Cvent. Great functionality and timely support always.

Pros: Does exactly what I need it to do. Easy to use and keeps all of my events in a place where I can run reports for greater insight into the sales process.

Cons: Some of the formatting when designing the registration pages and emails are a little difficult. I have had to learn HTML coding and sometimes even that doesn't fix the problems. So sometimes I have to let the design just go when I am not 100% happy with it.

Switching to Cvent has made my work day so much easier and more efficient.

Pros: I love the ease of use and functionality compared to what we previously used. It is a very robust platform that has helped to increase my productivity and also provide better final products to my colleagues and clients. Customer support is excellent!

Cons: It was a little hard to transition from our previous platform however, I think that is expected whenever you are making a switch so isn't necessarily a con of the software.

Pros: You are able to incorporate all aspects of your event in one place. From payments to staff management, to pulling reports, you can manage all aspects of your event.

Cons: It is not intuitive at all. There are lots of little details to learn and understand to fully utilize all the tools available. It's easier to use once you get the hang of it, but certainly not the most user friendly.

Overall great software and great experience with all Cvent team members when questions have arisen.

Pros: There is some much you can do with this product and make the product work for you (data tags). The OnArrival suite/Event in a Box (electronic sign in and on demand badge printing) really take events up a notch.

Cons: I wish there was more customization for the use of Cvent within healthcare industry focused meetings and events. Sometimes the layout is not quite intuitive/you have to do some digging to make changes.

Horrible from day one. They locked us out of our account and app a week befyour event!

Cons: It is extremely difficult to understand the logic behind the process they choose to create your event. Im a web developer amd know 4 programming languages and still the whole time was asking myself why is it like this?

Overall: How to recognize when a company just wants your money and once they get it they cant be found.

Cons: Not intuitive. There's a reason, other than bragging rights, that they offer Cvent user certifications.

Pros: It allows us to have all of our travelers in one database. We are able to customize each one of our registration sites. We manage over 130 trips a year.

Cons: It does not speak to our BB platform - cvent is now charging for HTLM support. This used to be free for us to call in for support.

Overall: we have two teams using this sofware in our organization.

Pros: Cvent's support is AMAZING. When in doubt, their support materials are easy to search through and contain straightforward information. Moreover, their customer support team is alway kind and incredibly knowledgable.

Cons: The tool can be tough to learn. Unless you are working in Cvent on a regular basis, it can be difficult to navigate. This makes it tricky for some basic users to adopt. Once they get the swing of it, though, they are off and running.

Overall: Enhanced features allow for tailored registration processes that reduce manual work for our event planners while also giving them access to crucial data.

Pros: I love the customer service piece of the software because it is so verstile and like no other customer service I have ever experienced. I also love the endless capabilities you have and are able to achieve with ease. The reporting system is amazing, love the new reports also.

Cons: Some areas of the software can be a little difficult to manipulate, sometimes edits to the website or emails take some time to come through or can cause some challenges.

Overall: Better auditing material, better knowledge of our attendees with surveys and reg. questions and also overall better management of our events.

Pros: I like how you can make each event customized; there are endless ways to change the look and feel of the website.

Cons: I don't have any cons per se...if I had more training I would know the system better. Depending on the issue I'm having, it's taken customer service an average of 30 - 40 minutes to resolve my issue. However, they are thorough and do a fantastic job!

Overall: Streamlining of processes; we no longer need to track housing, registration, biographies, and photos separately. Everything is stored in one list for each event, which is very helpful! We've also been able to customize the look of our name badges; they look more polished!

Great! Has dramatically decreased time manually reviewing data!

Pros: That it is robust and flexible, you can accomplish so much with this tool. You can handle complex registrations with multiple paths or quickly get a small event registration out. Also the workflow capabilities are great for strategic meetings management programs.

Cons: Nothing really, would love to be able to do more in it though to help consolidate more processes. Also the CSS editing can get a bit wonky here and there.

This tool can put all my meeting specs in once place.

Pros: The helpful customer service and that it can integrate with many of the other leading systems. This tool not only houses all of my org's meeting specs, but it has also fostered better communication cross-departmentally.

Cons: CVent's capabilities are so robust that it can be frustrating to learn, at first. However, CVent has an incredibly caring and knowledgeable team who are willing to help.

Pros: Cvent helped us a lot with the event management. We have been using Cvent since 2008 and don't have any complaints. Customer service is exceptional.

Cons: It is a little bit difficult to navigate for new users, but when you document the steps and use it on a regular basis, it get's easier.

Overall: Event organization. Can't see us using any other software :)

This platform can do it all. I'm able to run my event smoothly from soup to nuts.

Pros: Flexibility in the registration process! I'm able to customize our registration to meet our unique needs, ensure folks only see what they should see, and gather the data we need to prepare for the event.

Cons: There is a learning curve. I hear they are working on updates, so I'm excited to see the new user interface.

Overall: DATA! We get so much data that influences the work we do.

Cvent has a wide birth in accommodating all stages of your event success!

Pros: The depth it has - previous softwares couldn't meet complex needs, but on Cvent I've made improvements to my registration process that I didn't even know I needed to.

Cons: Because it does so much, it can be challenging for a new-adopter to pick it up. But, with customer rep, they are working to address that issue.

Comments: This is a great program that we have been using for 5 years and will hopefully continue to work with them in years to come. We are even looking into using their event app for our next big conference.

Pros: We do a lot of meetings throughout the year, and Cvent is the quickest way that we hear back from hotels. I usually can get a response from all the hotels within a week. I also like to use Cvent for Event Registration. It is a great program to keep track of attendees.

Cons: The only problem is that when creating your Event Registration there is not a lot of flexibility for sub questions that need to be answered when attendees are registering.

Pros: The software is really smart. I love all of the advanced filters, data tags, and settings that let you customize your registrant's experience from start to finish. I have been using the software for three years and I'm still learning new things every day.

Cons: The software is not always user friendly or intuitive. However, they have a great customer support team that will help you figure it all out. Once you know it, you know it.

Pros: The e-RFP tool can send out multiple RFPs at once and pull a report with everything I need. The Event Management tool allows me to completely control my event; from booking the travel to collecting special requests to pulling together custom reports.

Cons: The current event management module does not connect well with the travel portion. I find myself calling support or creating my own work around because the two system do not integrate.

Overall: I can do everything in one place. I can send out RFPs, collect proposals, award contracts, then transfer that information into my event website.

Pros: Cvent is easy to use and navigate. The ability to copy and paste, add attachments and really sell on this tool is key.

Cons: Sometimes we are not allowed to retract a turndown and have to go to the client for them to resend and then follow up to get this done.

Overall: Ease of use, quick response to my clients, ability to sell as much as possible, ability to make quick changes.

Pros: Very user friendly. It was easy to learn and quickly set up events. The dashboard is great for overview of each event for a quick glance.

Cons: I don't like that there is limited editing for the templates when it comes to the colors and backgrounds.

Pros: Our Account Managers have been amazing. They are always willing to help and make sure we find a solution together. They are always willing to listen to our ideas, suggestions and enhancements.

Cons: I wish there was a way to do mobile friendly email. Mobile responsive. There is a lot of "as/if" functions. Easier way to embedd registration pages on our website.

Pros: With the software, it makes event management easy to do. Our team has learned it on our own with minor help from customer support, who has always been extremely patient and easy to work with. The software itself is highly intuitive and walks you through the process step-by-step. The most beautiful thing, in my opinion, about Cvent is that the constantly are taking feedback from us all and improving the products more and more every day. It excites me to work with them!

Cons: The only issue I had was the initial set-up but that was because we did not pay for the additional training and they switched to Blue while we were building our first event, which made everything simple and easy to do.

Overall: They are numerous: ease of use, easy to manage, helpful to our clients, etc!

I use Cvent to manage 3 user conferences per year. We use the registration and mobile app software.

Pros: Easy to use and understand, don't have to be technical to understand and work in the CMS.
Top notch customer service, truly the best around.
On-Arrival is great and helps to streamline the reg process

Cons: Can be pricey compared to other registration systems. Price per registration is high. Cost for Marketo integration should be included.

Out of all the registration tools that I have seen, Cvent seems to have the best functionality.

Pros: Great customer service, always able to get them on the phone or by chat to get what you need done. Also great follow up if you have an open case.

Cons: You need to have a high level of coding to make your website look professional or pay the team to do it for you

Pros: The support team is always happy to help with any possible question I have! The chat tool is by far my favourite way to get instant answers to the more cut and dry inquiries that I have.

Cons: It can feel a little daunting to try and grasp how much the tool can be customized for you needs - and to determine how best to utilize it for each specific event.

Cvent allows us to complete almost all processes within the same software.

Pros: The customization, and integration with other helpful event management tools. Cvent Support is always available and is quick to answer any questions.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve (just as with any software). There are some software glitches that make changes not always stick (i.e. in emails). But with coding the problem can almost always be fixed!

Overall: Ease of registration and event management.

Positive, intetegeated into our organization fairly seemlessly.

Pros: Website builds are fairly easy. Easily communicates with crowd compass and the onsite solutions, including badge printing.

Cons: It is not intuitive. You Change a setting and then the next day you can't remember how you did it. Also once you make a change on a website it is final. You can't revert back. I know this will change with Flex.

Cvent makes it so easy to set up and manage an event!

Pros: I love that the tool is flexible enough to meet any complex need we have. The company is also always improving their software and expanding their reach to areas we will need help with in the future. Support is great - community for self-help, IM for quick help, call for more complex issues 24/7 which is crucial when onsite.

Cons: The tool can become a little complicated because of how customizable it is and some features look a little out-dated - but new releases solve for both of these problems.

Pros: Even at the minimum defaults, the overall presentation of an event is highly professional.
As a non-for-profit organization driven by data, the data this system has the potential to collect is phenomenal.
The payment process and financial reporting is also easy to use and a huge timesaver.
The support services are the absolute best I have experienced.

Cons: Not as intuitive as I expected
Registration Types do not auto-alpha when translating from selecting registration types to posting them on the event webpage
Would like more options for customizing conference sessions and collecting/reporting the registration data
Would also like to see templates for non-for-profit organizations

Overall: The ability to collect data regularly and consistently.
To readily access that data.
The potential to further collect data significant to our non-for-profit organization.
We are far ahead in our ability to create comprehensive reports than we were prior to Cvent

Pros: Makes event registration less time-consuming. Allows attendees to register online. Great for managing lists of invitees.

Cons: Some back-end set-ups are confusing. Especially if multiple sessions at different dates and times and locations.

Pros: We jumped right into CVENT without much training. I was able to build a site relatively fast and without much distress. When I did have problems, the customer service and website support is really fantastic.

Cons: No dynamic reports without having to add a user and have a password. I think setting up housing is a bit confusingz

Overall: I manage 20 meetings a year and I find the software easy to use and my stakeholders are pleased with the websites.

Cvent allows for less hands on interaction from attendees needing help with his/ her registration

Pros: It's easy to navigate and build events. I like that ig I need assistance with something, I can look it up in the Community or contact Cvent Support.

Cons: Not having full control over editing emails, i.e formatting columns or tables within emails. I would like to have a better understanding of this.

Overall: I can work at my own pace. I can run or set up multiple reports. Parked reports for others to see/run on their own.

Very helpful in streamline attendee management!

Pros: The registration process for our events was very manual before CVENT... Everything from event promotion, getting the information to all the attendees in an organized and timely manner, reporting, budgeting, badges, payments, and much more is all handled in one place. It allows me to focus more on the actual event!

Cons: When we first purchased CVENT, it took quite a bit for me to learn how to use the system... You need to be willing to invest the time into learning the system but it's well worth it.

We are a small organization and this offers a lot of features!

Pros: I really appreciate the ease of the software. Using Cvent has made our event planning so much easier! The company I work for has been able to go paperless for our event registrations within the last year and half which has been wonderful.

Overall: With this software, I have been able to keep track of payments to our events with ease and online registrations to said events have been so helpful!

Cons: You can only use one email per event. If I want to have a sponsor register their booth and register themselves separately, it requires a separate email. You cannot run reports by organization. I have organizations that want a report showing who has attended which event for the past 5 years. This is difficult to run.

Pros: Cvent's partnership with CrowdCompass allows us to build dynamic event apps for our clients. Cvent integrates with a lot of other tools making it a great data

Cons: The software has a lot of great features, but often times we're held back by limitations on those features. We're hoping for more developments that have been escalated for support.
